Take the leveling kit off when you go to install the stage 4. The stage 4 will allow you to level out the truck with the adjustable coil overs if that is the look you are trying to achieve.

Take it off when you put the icons in. I'm not entirely sure if this is what you're asking - but never ever stack lifts.

Your spacer lift and the stage four lift (adjusted to max) are probably the same lift amount- or with in a 1/4". So your not going to change ride hieght that much. A guy might think if I stack the two in theory I would get even more lift, however none of those parts are designed to remotely work in that configuration. So just the Icon, lets us know how you like the ride before and after.

The rule of thumb is the thickness of your spacer x2 gets you the lift amount. So for the front if you have 1 3/8 spacer like I am using I have a 2.5 lift. Ther rear is straight lift to spacer thickness. So first thing is check your spacer thickness. I was thinking the Icon is 3" lift but see it goes 3.5" so that could be a whole inch above what you have. I will have to defer to others that are at that lift point what tire fits, Your rim width and offset will affect the tire selection as well.

That would worry me if the people wrenching on my truck think it's a good idea to stack a huge spacer on top of a(extended travel?) coilover. o_O

Exactly. Find a different shop. If they are suggesting leaving a spacer lift on and adding a coilover lift, then you Sir need to run for the hills.

No question about it, you should not be stacking lifts. They are not designed to work together. If they were you'd see kits for sale. One is for looks and the other is for practical use. If your shop is suggesting that you keep your spacers in, find a new shop or do the work yourself and learn about how your suspension works.

Maybe the spacers will help keep the top hats on the Icons from blowing up?

That is some funny shit right there. But really though, Icons shouldn't be doing that even though there have been reports of it happening.

In reading up on it that is basically what some have done...the spacer reinforces the poorly designed tophat.
