You gotta be kidding me. Just tried to buy some parts for the bike @04yota and I wanted to use the last of my gift card from low range off road.

    Missed it by one penny.

Pulled the stator today. Damn that thing was on there. Really glad I wasn't standing in front of it when it let loose

I think there is a website for all the Honda oem parts, and not so pricey. I'll look for it.

Bike bandit is awesome for sourcing OEM parts. I have quite a bit to order for my rebuild.

Just because you've called twice and gotten 2 different people that recommended 2 different things doesn't mean anything besides 2 people tried selling you what in their opinion was what you needed.

I've ordered from them a few times. Always been very happy with their reccomendations and customer service.

I started with a head unit, then I got a sub and amp, then eventually speakers. And that's the order I'd reccomend anyone else do it too. Head unit makes the most difference in volume, sub makes the most difference in giving the sound some depth, and speakers just kind up clean up the final product.

I would not reccomend pioneer. I had a pioneer navi/DVD etc head unit that would freeze up all the time. And I had a pioneer sub that shit out too. I now have a kenwood head unit that I really loved until I upgraded my phone and now it's not conpatible. (30 pin iPhone- lightning connector)
And I have a kicker shallow 10" that kicks the shit out of the pioneer sub I had.

I think I still have a pioneer sub, but out of the 3 pioneer items, 2 of them had to be replaced.

I know nothing about audio systems, but would it be worth it to upgrade the speakers without a sub? I really don't want to sacrifice the space that a sub would take, but I do already have a HU

Anytime you replace a OEM speaker with a decent aftermarket speaker is ALWAYS a good upgrade in sound quality.

I recommend crutchfield to everyone I know... as josh stated different opinions... with a $400 budget I suggest a pioneer 400w amp at $80 some speakers around 175 thatd include crossovers too... and use the rest to find a sub box and amp package deal

Its very different going from my uncles car to mine... granted it has 10k worth of speaker work and the firewall is pushed forward 4 inches for moar speakers

    Pioneer FTW

saved yourself some money with already having that

Pioneer single dins are good... can attest to pioneer double dins being shitty...

Yes. You will get a crisper sound... you could make a small sub box and put it under the seat... jbl also makes a "stealth box" might actually be JL now that I think of it

I've ordered from them before and was satisfied with what the recommend. But this time around I called it's a lil diff. But then again like you said it's their opinion.

No numbers per se. However the biggest restriction and impediment to flow is the valve stem itself. So even though I am only using 1/4" hose, I theorize that it is fatser doin two at once. Those who have witnessed me air up can attest to how fast it is. A simple test seems to be in order however. I will use my set up to air up one tire from 15 to 35 psi and time it. Then I will do two at once. I will post the results.

Not more bass, but more clarity across the speakers' designed/intended range of frequencies. If the aftermarket speakers is designed to include the lower range frequencies, then the bass will be higher quality than the OEM.
