Nothing for a matching wheel.. Gonna have to change up my wheels.. :pout:

Yeah the airflow is what I want.. Need to find somebody with a factory intake and sell them my AFE, then get a Airflow with an AFE drop in.

    Most likely

Yeah dude! Go check and let me know what yours is. Such a bummer, if it works for you, you can have it when I get new wheels. Same for the other 3.

Unless someone wants to but this set, knowing they have one mismatched wheel that will only work on the rear.. Dirt cheap..

Which gears are you going with? I'm hoping my ring gear isn't chewed up. I've got a drivetrain howl that comes and goes....just did the carrier bearing and 3 ujoints...now this howl comes and goes randomly

I had a groan from the old CB...sounds pretty much just like it.

Sometimes i can't hear it over the tire howl. No noticeable vibes.

Driveline fluids are BG synthetics...done at 37k...i am at 59785 currently.

4wd doesn't make the sound change at all.

I have done the ECGS front diff bushing.

Next step is drain and replace rear diff fluid then  I don't find ring gear or pinion teeth

they are even stamped different.... :frusty:
I have searched all over when I found this one and no where does it say there are 2 different 17x9's......back to the drawing board.. it makes a good spare, but not a good replacement.
there is a local guy that has some beat up classic locks on his Taco that are 17x9's and now I want to know what offset those are....

    @Hennessy @The Fluffer @Milota95

Got an email back from Mickey Thompson. Pretty much confirms what we were thinkin.. Older model..

"The -15mm offset was only for a short time as it was always supposed to be -12mm. With the Gen 2 Tacoma trucks they do have the inconsistent calipers that make it so the wheels may not clear. I see that you were able to put the -12mm on the rear. Unfortunately we no longer have the Classic Lock wheels with the removable bead lock. It was 2004 when we came out with the 17” with the -15mm offset and it was 2006 when they had the -12mm offset. The wheel line was discontinued about 6 years ago"

So they actually produced those -15mm wheels for about two years if I am reading it right?

Great a limited edition wheel.... maybe I should get some gold SCS's also ..

I checked with the other local Classic lock owner and no big surprise they are the -12's...

now I am really lost, I thought I was set up with wheels...

Those Rotiform SIX-OR in black with white ring would look pretty awesome on your truck.
