Eaton Elocker for 8.4" 2nd Gen Rear?

Simple question, does Eaton make an Elocker for the 8.4" rear axle on 2nd gens? I have read people like them for toyotas, but I can't find what I am describing for sale anywhere and I also cannot find a list from Eaton with all of the applications for the Elocker.

 

I haven't seen any for the 2nd Gen yet. Wish somebody would get going on an electric for these.

 

Me too, Auburn is not making the Ected selectable locker for it either. It seems like there should be good demand for it, don't know for sure but I bet the same axle is is some 4 Runners, FJ's, Hiluxi (<--you like that, plural Hilux), Tundra's, Prado's, Land Cruisers, Sequoias lots of stuff. I know about ARBs, just like the idea of an e locker, o well, for now at least.

Please let me know if you find a selectable electric locker for the 8.4" axle and thanks.

THE WORLD'S FIRST HARROP EATON ELOCKER FOR TACOMA / TUNDRA / T-100 / SEQUOIA / PRE RUNNER REARS

The first one off the production line is now in my 2002 Tacoma. We have delivered several others and are taking orders for these babies. The 2-locker switch will soon support a front Harrop model # A11167.

Hot damn, I'm in the market and don't want to go ARB. Do you know what people are usually charging for install since it's not very common?

What mods are required to the housing to accommodate an actuator or pass through for wire?

 

Pricing varies based upon region and shop, but the rear is solid axle and much more straightforward than clamshell fronts. For a basic, no extras install, ballpark around $600-800 for the rear axle. Pretty much same as ARB except no compressor, tank, etc. to purchase or install, so less parts and labor.

Preparation of the housing = one small hole for wiring grommet.

 

Any plans to offer assembled 3rd members with the Elocker?

 

Are they also offering this for the front on the 2nd gens as well? That switch is awesome! I'd love to find a switch housing like that to fit my truck!
