    Going to state..... (dont know if you are 4x4 or not but this is to everyone)

    THIS IF FOR A 4X4 ONLY..... YOU NEED TO HAVE A SLIP JOINT AFTER THE CB for this to work.


    Also, been running my IELDS cb for awhile and things are good. Still have vibes but that is 100% due to shitty stock leafs and a single AAL that has axle wrap harder than 2 pac.

    3rd gens have a different stock CB part number.... one would have to measure the shaft and verify it would fit.

    Is no one worried about hanging this thing up on a rock? I mean, it doesn't move the center of the drive shaft down by much but still....clearance is clearance...

    Also, it would be totally fine on my barely lifted truck?

    I've got a noise that i believe is either the cheap carrier bearing i just installed or one of my new ujoints. Some people told me to try this one. But i don't want to mess up my pinion angle...

    It still isnt the lowest hanging part on my truck, I check every time I hear some scraping when wheeling, to see if I got it.. It never does. The frame, sliders, crossmembers, always touch first

    I just worry because a replacement driveshaft is like $800

    No biggy then. Surely the angle won't be changed that much...i'll look at it today... i don't want the cb to be the low spot because my truck isn't as lifted as everyone else that did this mod

    That won't change the relation of cb to frame. It will still sit in the same spot as mine or anyone elses. :thumbsup:

    But lower is what i mean...

    The drive shaft wouldn't be tucked up in the crossmember like it is now....it'd be an little bit lower at that point with this Poly CB, right?

    I'm sure i'm overthinking this. I'm still stressed out about the whole thing

    You are right about that, it will move the entire assembly down, but only by a couple inches at most. Lift height won't affect anything tho, besides angles, and you'll be good there too I'd imagine

    No worries man. I can relate.. I dive deep into everything.. Need to know all the info first. I can appreciate that. ;)

    an upgraded driveshaft isnt that much homie. I had a quote ran up for a custom one piece steel driveshaft at one point when I thought Id never get rid of vibes ( but i did, and you can too!) and even that came out to less. You could spend over $800 for a carbon fiber driveshaft if you wanted to go that way... plus side is that would DEFINITELY not transmit any driveline vibrations
