Starry starry night might not be great. But the light hitting those flowers could prove to be magic.

Sorry to hear that man. A lot of cars and trucks have been hit in my neighborhood. My wife's car was victim a couple of years ago. It sucks. We now have cameras set up and on camera have seen people checking door handles to see if anyone has left anything unlocked. Caught the neighbors Tacoma and his wife's SUV getting broken into on the cameras but it was across the street so we didn't get a clear picture. On his wife's SUV this lady had some sort of clicker that she was walking around with until something opened up. On his truck he must of left it unlocked but he swears he locked it. I'm in the habit to check my truck like 3 times throughout the evening until I turn in for the night. We even set up a motion sensor doorbell from harbor freight on the driveway. If anyone walks up in the driveway at night it will go off and wake us up. Sucks when it's just a cat or the wind but better safe then sorry. We will catch these scum bags one of these days. Seems like they like the early morning hours between 3am-6am. It's been multiple different people caught on camera. I almost yanked a newspaper delivery guy out of his truck one morning because my wife headed to work came running back into the house at 5:00am saying there was a suspicious SUV driving slowly down our cul-d-sac. I cornered him down the street with my truck, hit him with all my lights and he froze solid. Once I walked up to his SUV I saw all the papers. I told him as politely as I could(all hopped up on adrenaline) that he needs to put some kind of identification on the side of his truck that he's the newspaper guy. Good thing I didn't order him out at gun point. Was just about there. I sure did feel dumb after that but better safe then sorry I guess. We've had a shit ton of home break ins and car break ins in the last couple of years. And I live in a pretty decent area of HB. Crazy times I guess.

Hope you get all your shit straightened out buddy. Don't forget to put a hold on your credit so they can't open any lines of credit in your name. You said they got your wallet so they pretty much have what they need to set themselves up.

IMAG0873.jpg My front door that got kicked in like 2 years ago when everyone was at work. Middle of the day. They tried poping a glass slider door open but it had the rod in the track and they couldn't get it open. So the just kicked the front door open. If they want in, they will get in.

Hey Ed, I talked to a locksmith he said the key no pun intended is use longer screws for the door latch and striker. It will help the door from being kick in, also a security door is another option.

We got the security door now and when they replaced the door frame we had them put in a steel security plate that wraps around the studs where all locks engage.

Edit: we also have the camera system that's motion activated to alert on the cell phone and an alarm system.
