What process/paint did you use to paint your grill, or did you plastidip?

Yes, from what it look like the height is not as important as the angle, they will sit a little higher that in the factory bumper but I should be able to keep them at the same angle. Once i have a 3D model of the new bumper and factory bumper wing I will place the monitors and cutouts.
Did you keep the monitors in the exact same location as stock?
I keep hearing how sensitive they are and would agree on the angle but I figure when to lift the vehicle it changes the geometry of the sensors with no noticeable affect so I'm hopping a little higher won't hurt.

    Not a good one ;)
I just sanded and rattle caned with satin black, it stuck good on the grill but I guess I didn't sand the ring enough as it was chipping pretty bad. Hence the new trd pro grill.

Yeah, one day I'll (maybe) rationalize a $400+ piece of non-functional plastic - because it does look awesome, but for now I need other functional mods!

Yeah, I probably wouldn't have if I didn't mess mine up with the paint. I'll have a booth at cruse Moab this year and the truck will be on display so it has to look good ;)

Oh ok, it will be interesting to see if it still functions normally that way. I left the sensors in the exact same location as stock. I was told that the sensors in the bumper work in conjunction with sensors that are located in the rear view mirrors on the doors. The sensors each have their own sonar that meet at a certain point behind and off to the side of the vehicle that establish the "blind spot". I'm not sure if changing the height of that sensor in the bumper will affect anything or not.

Here is some better pics of the rear. This is the beginning stage so recovery points and lights will be added, hopefully I don't have to change the shape to much for the bsm as I really like the lines I currently have. I will likely color match the wings to keep the factory lookimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Probably around $500-600 for steel and $600-700 for aluminum.
The front bumper will be around $1100.
Both are in the prototype stage now but will be realeased in the near future.
Sorry website is down but working on a new one.

not sure it this is in the works, but if you can make a steel rear bumper that looks exactly like the stock one (black plastic parts too along with what you have already) and move the hitch behind the license plate AND work with swing arms...you sir will be a wealthy man

no progress on the truck but went out and played a bit over the weekend.
Also have been working on the 100 series ladder and 3rd swing out, I hope to do something similar for the Tacoma some day. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Ben, any plans to offer full hoops on the Tacoma bumper?

Looks great. I'd have to think there'd be a shipping advantage with the modular design too.

    Thanks.

Probably not with this low profile design. just to much area to cover and I don't think it would look right. When I do a high clearance option I will do full hoops.
Yes it does help with shipping.
    I can ship ups ground.
