How to determine base, pre-runner, x-runner

    Very confusing until I know the difference. When looking up replacement parts, they always ask which sub-make/model it is. Owners manual is no help with this often asked question. 2009 Tacoma TRD 4x4 V6 SR5 is what it says on tailgate.

    For looking up parts, the three options I usually come across are base, prerunner, or pro. I always select base for my trd sport.
