Stereo, alarm and sound deadening. Just an audio shop

 

Im thinking i'll get pieces of black abs plastic as filler plates. Probably get rid of my 30" lightbar and put 4 2" pods in the openings then make shrouds out of the abs. Unless I can find a way to cut out a slot for the lightbar. I dont like the exterior bolt on brackets they make for it.


Its all made by MBRP and I get a pretty ridiculous discount on them. Still waiting on pricing for the sliders as they just came out. Zero wait time on the bumpers.

Which shop? Soundscape Car audio in Plano. Dan is a good dude who knows his ish, he has won too many competitions/awards to list including retailer of the year last year.

 

Mhmmmm even though i said i was not going to buy truck parts for a bit... I think I am going to get some sound deadening.

 

He did 2 stages of deadening. The standard "dynamat" for the sound quality and another layer that includes closed cell foam more so for environmental noise and heat. My doors feel like they are range rover doors when I open and close them now. I still need to do my roof and floor, but they will come later

 

That is what I am going to be doing as well. Going to get some from RAAM Audio and do the doors with the dynamat stuff and the foam, then do the roof with the same as well. Going to do the back wall and some of the floor if I can. But mainly want the roof and doors done before I take a trip that takes over 2 hours to drive.

I have a buddy that is selling a cannon 7d, vertical battery, and some other accessories all for $450. I will post the rest of the stuff when he gives me a list.

Give him a shout while he is so close, he is moving his shop to Addison in 3 weeks. His labor rate is what everyone else's is, he just sells better quality stuff.

Finally got a hold of relentless, they said they have a lot of sliders on the floor that they are currently working on, so hopefully mine are in there somewhere. If not then i decided that i am just going to have them cancel my order and i will have Danger Close build me a set.

 

Sounds like it might be a good deal, then again I know nothing about cameras. I just take camera donations. I haven't spent anything an the gear I have! Can't hurt the truck funds on a camera I don't know how to use properly. If I had to buy one I'd just use my phone for everything.

Yes, he is just selling the body. If i remember correctly, any cannon lens will attach to any cannon body.

 

Ok i will be back, i am going to inquire about buying a RTT and winch.
