Added a Gladman fab recovery point in the front and hitch adapter with a couple of new shackles. And picked up a Rugged Ridge recovery strap, ready to pull someone out or get pulled. Preferably pulling someone out :ballchain:

The hitch adapter recovery ring looks cool, but put an actual ball hitch on it until you go off-roading. Has saved mine and my dad's truck from major damage when getting rear-ended.

Yeah I have that too but I can't close my garage door so went this route. The ball hitch saved my Tundra before from getting rear ended as well. Plus when using the recovery strap, it's recommended not to use a ball hitch just in case it slips and flings in the air and hurts someone.

    Nice build! Thanks for sharing.

Maybe this has already been asked and I missed it, but are you running the load range C or E version of the KO2's? Any impressions or changes you've noticed (noise, acceleration, handling, mpg) ?

Thanks!! I actually have load range C tires, noise is next to nothing on the highway, handles amazing especially when 4wd is engaged and all 4 tires are getting traction. I didn't get a chance to really gauge the mpg from stock since I put them on after a week after getting the truck but I get around 18-19mpg avg per tank. Don't plan to take heavy loads on a frequent basis so chose this instead of E.

Did some changes to the front. Pulled the trigger and swapped my BAMF grill for a TRD Pro one since I like oem stuff. Previously liked BAMF look better but this look is growing on me. Also switched out the lower bumper trim to the black offroad one. Might be adding the pro skid soon too and maybe some ditch lights. To be continued.....

Nice build!!! If you do go for the pro skid I'd be interested in the bpf skid.

Looks good. Is that one of the first bpf skids since it's not stamped?
And is there a cutout for the oil filter on those?

I got it last January but you can get them without the stamp which is more expensive. I chose non stamp since I was trying to put a trd sticker on it but it appears that it doesn't stick too well on powder coat so left it blank. And no there's no oil filter cutout. I get my oil changes done at the dealer anyway so they take it off and put it back on.

Right on lol make them all the work!
Didn't know you could get them without stamping, thanks
The black looks good against like the white insert on the bumper, but gets kind of lost with the black. The TRD one woukd be a good move and look dope

That's the exact reason why I'm switching it up lol. It stood out before with my white bumper trim but now it blends in more and doesn't standout as much since I switched to the black bumper trim.

Looking good! Those white ditch lights and mounts are KILLER! Ive got those dually side shots on order myself and need a mount. I really like those CBI mounts in how they move the lights closer to the A-pillar and out of driving line of sight. Do you notice them when you are driving?

Also, are you using some type of locking or security hardware for those ditch lights?

Thanks!! You barely notice them and I could've shifted them even further to the sides but my OCD had to have them centered on the brackets haha. Yeah I bought the Rigid security hardware since no one out there sells security nuts for the carriage bolt that works on it since the bolt needs to come through the security tool. I looked everywhere and no luck so had to spend the extra cash for Rigids. Did you get white ones too?

I almost did, then went with the black ones. I may get white covers though. I need to order the security hardware like asap! Thanks for that info

No problem at all. I was on the fence about the black ones too and decided that I wanted to try something different. Plus since the white ones are the marine model and Rigid claims it's more corrosion resistant so that sold me. Good luck with them, I'm sure you won't regret it.
