Anyone and everyone who lived in the Northeast in January 1996 remembers THE BLIZZARD (January 8, 1996; Molly was just short of 13 months old and I was two months away from turning 7).

Molly and me in the backyard of the North Wales house:
    17867_1311116975246_6347544_n.jpg

See that huge hill of snow up to the top of the next door neighbor's fence? See how Molly's looking right at it? I do not know if this was before or after the incident I'm gonna tell you about, but here it goes. Our neighbors had a male Golden Retriever (a couple years older than Molly) who was pretty much Molly's boyfriend. They LOVED each other. At some point on the day these pictures were taken, the Golden was let out in the backyard to play. Molly happened to be unsupervised in the backyard at the same time. Molly actually climbed over that snowbank into the neighbor's yard, and the next think my mom knew she was over there playing with the neighbor's Golden Retriever!

In the front yard of the house (that tree on the right is now HUGE; It was planted when the house was built in 1990 and these photos were taken in January 1996). Take note of how Molly is eyeing up that tree:
    17867_1311117055248_455371_n.jpg

On the right of the photo, you see the right rear fender of my dad's 1993 S-10 Blazer, the vehicle that forever solidified my lifelong love of 1st gen S-series trucks and SUVs; The air-conditioner in this same Blazer blew the same orifice tube seal TWICE in the first 11 months my dad owned it (Even with the clear title to a 2010 Tacoma in my name, I still want an old S-10)! Molly still seems very interested in that tree. Keep scrolling down...
    17867_1311117175251_8315652_n.jpg

And... There she goes! Nothing but a chew toy in the eyes of a 1-year old Labrador:

Molly was always smart enough to know when dinnertime was, and when she was 1 to 3 years of age (most notably when we lived on base at Moffett Field in 1996-1998; don't remember her doing this at all past about 1999), she would actually do an Oscar-worthy Snoopy impression and carry her bowl around in her mouth when she knew it was time for us to feed her... Owners get annoyed when their dogs beg, but this was just too adorable for me or my parents to discourage it... If I find a picture I'll post it...

I have two pictures here. The second picture was taken by me on Monday, February 27, 2017. The tree on the right is the same tree Molly was chewing on more than 21 years earlier!

We moved from Virginia Beach, Virginia to Oak Harbor, Washington in the summer of 2000. We made several stops at national landmarks while driving our then-new GMC conversion van across the country, and even spent a few days at Yellowstone. That's obviously me, my dad, and Molly. However, if you're an American citizen and don't know where we are, you should be deported:

Not my dog, but still an adorable picture...

To humans, it's a Skechers sneaker...

    To the neighbor's Min-Pin, it's just a chew toy...

    1930533_1046543641078_6851_n.jpg

This picture was taken in like 2008 or 2009...

Former neighbor's family pet, a male Bearded Collie named Jersey (This picture was taken in 2009 when Jersey was 2 or 3; He's the absolute friendliest dog you'll ever meet). I came across this picture on Facebook and messaged the former neighbor (who moved to Staten Island 3 years before we moved out) and was delighted to hear that Jersey is still alive. He's 12 now and slowing down significantly, but still happy as ever...

We lived in the same neighborhood from September 2007 to April 2016, and while my dog Molly died 2 years after we moved in, enough of our neighbors owned dogs that my craving was always satisfied...

This is Angus, my neighbor's Pug. The picture was taken by Angus's owner in 2009. She also had another younger Pug named Tater, purchased when Angus wasn't even 2 years old because she couldn't have just one...

Angus and Tater are still alive, and my neighbor bought a THIRD pug a couple years ago (they've moved out of this neighborhood but still live in the area and we're Facebook friends)!

This guy also belonged to one of my neighbors in that neighborhood, but I forget his name and who he belonged to...
