Thanks man, appreciate that. I really just want to get rid of the one that's not working, but if I can get more money for it by repairing then I will do so. Just have to have a tech look at it first and see if its worth it.

AC15 is slightly smaller, but much easier on the back. See if you can get one of the recent hand-wired reissues. They really do sound different. I build a hand-wired '53 Champ clone a few years ago and it is skronky in all the right ways.

    This is my exact model...

No reverb or any of that, but to me that's just more shit to break. I like things as simple as they can be and then add whatever you want outboard.

And they're not any more temperamental than any other good tube amp. Just don't jostle it around after playing for a bit. If it's hot, wait 15 minutes before putting it in the car. The tubes need a chance to cool off.

That's cool does the -TV designate the Square cabinet style without the face plate? Not sure they still make them like that.. Looks like the new handwireds look like this:

Here's a really bad picture. I did some stuff on YouTube awhile back. I haven't been playing much lately. What style do you play?

Heck yeah man, Check out Vanamps "Sole-Mate" outboard reverb tanks. You might be able to find a used (discontinued) Jr. Sole-Mate with a mini tank that mounts inside the amp.

Nice! You got any links brotha?

    Country. And Western.

I had gotten into Meshuggah early on. Then I found Keith Merrow's music a few years back, then Periphery and Tesseract. Never could get into the tech-deathcore stuff until recently. And only some of it sparingly still. lol

I love Keith's stuff. We used to email back and forth way back.
I'll check your stuff out. I've been listening to alot of country for the past several years.

Edit: You're good man! How long have you been playing?

For that price you can probably find or have a custom built hand-wired amp of comparable size and better quality. Some people put $$$ into speakers, but it's really all about the output transformer.
