    had two TSB's done today under warranty
    T-SB-0026-15 (driver needle bearing). If it doesn't work i'll replace it myself with the ECGS bushing
    and
    T-SB-0044-14 (Engine knock)

    these were done no questions asked, even though i have a lift, tires, electrical mods, etc.... good day. :cool:

    Amazon box was flawless, you can just tell orderfiller threw that shit in the box to make productiom, i work in a distribution center for walmart, i understand the way it works when you have a qouta to fill, however, i need it fixed now.

    depends on the outside conditions. its caused by toyota trying to meet emissions/efficiency standards and leaning the truck out too much on the low end. if the cylinder gets too hot the air/fuel mixture will detonate before the piston gets to the top of the cylinder (that's the knock). the tsb is a simple ecu reflash that adjusts the mapping ever so slightly

    conditions that make it worse/noticeable:
    1) higher engine bay temps (hot outside, moving slowly)
    2) steep hills
    3) low rpm

    our engines have a normal "tick" that can be heard even at idle (variable valve timing). this is NOT that. when you hear it knock... you'll know it

    That sounds exactly like what I had a while back, and took it in to get looked at and fixed, and got taken care of.

    They didn't give me any info though, like what you have... but still fixed nonetheless.
