The only way I can afford a building like that is because I do all that shit myself.

What sucks is that I don't drink anymore, which is the ONLY bright side to hanging out on a scaffold all day with a goddamn paint brush in my hand.

Now the only way I can enjoy painting is to have my .257 AI Roberts up there with me, and I shoot any goddamn living thing in the field to make me feel better.

Dude I paid $38,500, put 14,000 miles on it and traded it in for $36,000. I didn't get hosed.

And the sticker on the Chevy was $54,000, I paid $42,000.

Now if I traded in the Chevy right now? I'd get hosed.

I liked the kid that sold me the car. He worked his ass off for me (really did). Had to wait over a month until he could wrangle a bonus tag on the truck.

That's what is irritating- the GM bonus tag BS. I'd much rather negotiate the price without all the BS hanging around.

The Toyota/Ford dealer in town is worse. I flat out walked away from the salesman and manager and told them to take their 'deal' and wipe their asses with it.

My dad owned a Ford dealership for awhile in the 80s and 90s then got out of the car biz after about 3 decades. It's a racket.

I'm working on a 1985 Toyota Hilux.. Let you know if I'm successful.

I need a 'go to the dump' beater truck. My Chevy is too sophisti-cated to haul garbage.

Nah, 18's. I made sure that the truck I bought had 18's because in Maine the roads go to hell in the winter. I do a lot of back/secondary road driving where the roads are full of potholes and frost heaves, and low-profile tires on those roads are a recipe for a broken wheel.
    Thanks!
    And here:
That's what it looked like after I got back from a hunting/camping trip up North a couple of weeks ago.

I owned one until this past September. :notsure:

That's part of why I've got this thing, lol.

Very nice. Love that '32; an old Model A pickup (or a 30's Dodge pickup) has been on my list of "Wants" since I was a little kid.

So far I've only made it as far back as 1969, though.

I bet we don't see a bunch of them with 100,000 plus miles on them. I bet we don't see very many at all
