Thanks man. At least you say it's comfortable. It gets pretty hot here in Kansas also so that's something I need to keep in mind. I'd also like to get one for my G19 which I never carry because it's just too big and heavy for me. Figured if the Alien Gear was at least comfortable I could wear my Glock 19 in the winter. Which would save me from carrying my G43 and an extra mag.

I stay pretty minimal. I carry my keys, wallet, knife (I love knives), phone, and I "try" to carry my gun. I will admit ,like I've said the last three posts), that a nice gun belt has definitely helped. Before I had a cheap belt that came free with my shorts. The weight of my gun was always pulling on the one side and I was adjusting my belt always.

I just picked up the original cloak tuck and a belt for my g43 during the Presidents' Day sale. Like others have said, it is comfortable, but the downside is it's size. I'm still getting used to it and trying to find that perfect spot to carry. 4 o'clock is most comfortable, 6 is most concealable in my experience.

Better to ask what I have not done.
The cloak 3 is what i have for the sig 1911 and p938. Very comfortable with both of them right at my 7:00. I will play a little more with the p938 at my 6:00 with reversed side holster here soon. I do like their shell trade ins as i can jump to the m92 or the p229 when ever i wanted. I might have to try a better gun belt with kydex backing or something but when carying the 1911 i have noticed that if i do not carry it with the front clip infront of my belt loop it will start to ride back throughout the day.

Nice! Thanks for the picture and your thoughts. Also, I didn't think about waiting for a sale day! Maybe I'll wait until 4th of July or something? I'm not in a huge hurry at least.
If anyone knows of a sale on Alien Gear or a promo code feel free to PM me or post it here.

Yeah. The only discounts I've seen were the fact that I did the "buy two" holsters at the same time. Made the price about $17 cheaper. About $42 per holster that way.

Anyone do any gun refinishing? My buddy didn't like how shiny his Henry .17 HMR Golden Boy was, so I stripped it and antiqued it for him. The patina isn't for everyone but he's happy with it. IMG_1629.jpg IMG_1627.jpg

Why does something not look right with that close-up of your scope ring and the base? Is it just sitting on top of the base?

It's fully seated into the rail. That picture does look funny though.

The scope rings are so wide that they don't end on the high part of the pic rail, they end on the low point on both ends.

Scored a Bushnell TRS 25 on opticsplanet for $65.00 with no tax or shipping on Presidents' Day weekend. Couldn't pass it up. For a cheap little red dot, I am pleasantly surprised by it. Was not expecting much.

I used to throughout school but stopped playing regularly once I got into college. I still like to break it out once in a while. I play a Yamaha 62 (the newer remake of the old 62)

That king is nice though! I never got into sax repair... too many small pieces haha. But drum repair/maintenance I could hang with
