Mito markets the Gentex mirrors that Toyota and pretty much everyone else uses. http://mito-auto.com

@ChasVS's mirror looks like it's the 50-GENK5A version, around $160 new on Amazon. So $85 seems to be a solid price.

Where $500 comes from? Even the very nice frameless autodim with homelink 50-GENK85A is only $350 on Amazon.

How difficult would it be to install this on a 2016 with just the standard mirror? I don't have any of the wiring so I guess I'd need to buy the wire harness and run it under the headliner?

I honestly don't know. I would expect you are correct about the wire harness. I've found in other mods I've done that the wire connectors are all there to plug into so I'd expect the harness plugs into a connector under the headliner, probably accessed through the upper control panel. I'd search the Forums and ask if someone has done this conversion.

When I bought my homelink mirror, it came with a wiring harness that plugs into the back of the mirror. You are supposed to run it behind the headliner and down under the dash where you tap into a hot and ground. I already had the necessary wires and plug on my TRD model so I included the extra harness when I sold my auto dimming mirror. I don't know if you can buy the harness separately but I imagine you can.
