Started on a new drawer build today...we shall call it design phase 1. Left will be a large drawer. Right side will be a 6" pullout drawer with a hinged lid for a grill table I hope.20170307_142617.jpg

You gonna make the side brackets like some others did w/ the wind fairing?

I put T-nuts in the factory track, bolted those to tome extra Unitstrut I had laying around and those became my bracket. I then bolted those to the actual rack. Still playing around with the mounting feet to make it a little more solid but it seems to do the job so far.

I think it'll hold up fine. I still have to play around with two of the mounting feet on the driverside but besides that, it feels really solid. Once I get those mounts done, I'll get up there and see how it does with my weight on it

I was thinking of adding some aluminum sides to make it look like a Prisnu but I don't mind the low profile look it has. The width of the rack at the front is right at 39.5" and I'll probably add a 30" single row lightbar, bottom mounted instead of a fairing.

Thanks! Super happy with how it's turning out. I have a little more tweaking I need to do and I'm going to work on adding some awning mounts. Once those are in, I'll post some better pictures to your DIY thread

I would love to go taller but. Cooler lid has to open. And weight is always an issue when working with wood. I also don't want to confine myself to only what I can fit in drawers.

Fridge would be a nice upgrade but the rtic handles ice just fine for now haha

Once I dial in the supports, I think it will. I saw some people in the DIY thread have.

I plan on having my awning on there almost always plus a hilift mount when traveling and some pelican cases with gear.
