    what up Tacoma World!
I've been lurkin ever since I began my hunt for tacoma when I got back from South America and I figured I should finally make a post here.
I ended up finding the right truck back in mid-December. The lovely lady is a 2012 Access Cab, TRD offroad, 4.0, 6 speed Manual and she is one beautiful gal. I had been hunting for a first gen for quite awhile and after looking at many used trucks that had either been molested by their previous owners with shitty lift kits and ugly rims or were just plain old dogs I decided it was time to travel over to the stealership and see what they had to offer. Luckily for me I showed up right when an older couple had just traded in this truck (they hadn't even detailed it when I took it for a test drive). I looked it over and it was super clean 55k on the odo and immediately began talking prices. We started at 27k and I managed to get down to 23k :kona:. This was way over what I had originally wanted to pay because I really didn't want to have to get a loan but it all ended up working out really well and I am super satisfied with my first car purchase!
right after I picked her up after detailing from the dealership!

Anyways I have been driving quite a bit lately, couple trips to Montana, couple trips down to the desert and a ton of trips to the ski hill so I have really racked up the miles (5500 in 3 months). I have luckily found a lot of the repair tutorials on here and have also managed to change the front/rear diffs, trans case, and the engine oil on my own. Saves a broke college kid (I'm 21) like myself a good bit of change here and there and also is a great learning opportunity. A couple other mods I have done are the rear diff breather, tailgate theft mod, removed front mudflaps (so freaking annoying on any dift road!), and I built out the bed of my truck for improved storage and a sleeping platform.
    Dead horse point
    White Rim Trail last weekend!
    cooking up breakfast
    stanced...lol
    should I drop?
I love this truck and I am so excited to continue my many adventures in it, and cannot wait to make it mine even more so with the long list of mods I want...hahaha
Anyways just wanted to say Hi and say thanks for all of the great information I have recieved on this site as of now. You all have been super helpful and I truly appreciate it!
cheers to more dust filled adventures!

This would be funny if it was not so true. Already costing me a bundle. Fogs on the way!

Welcome buddy! Was also 21 when I bought my Taco in 2014! Didn't wanted the loan but I don't regret it! Still very happy with my rig and I hope you will be too! Seems like you found your family here!
