    Its my first manual as well and I have fallen in love with the standard transmission, its just too damn fun to drive!

    And with a manual, you do not have to worry about friends asking to borrow your truck to move!

    It probably limits the number of potential thieves is well. I've been driving a stick shift for so long that I don't even think about it anymore .

    You know you are a stick driver when you try to clutch the rented automatic. Think I have dented a couple floor pans.:D

    At work I sometimes drive an automatic van and every stinkin time I get in I try to push the clutch down hahaha.

    I looked for a 6 speed for over a year before I found his truck. My last truck (2007 Dodge 2500 5.9 Cummins) was an automatic and I couldn't stand it. I should have never let the wife talk me into buy the auto...
