I did the tailgate pop and lock tied to the key fob... a lot of people were complaining that it was too loud.. I didnt want to be annoyed with the noise every time the door unlocks so.. I got some audio sound dampening and added it to the inside of the tailgate. It is pretty quiet and I dont mind it. I can only hear it when Im kinda close to it. I think its a solid move if you think its too loud.

I bought 10 sq feet from Amazon- you dont need this much. unless you wanna do some over kill and make it super quiet. I didnt do the whole tailgate but you can with this 10 ft.

I'm all too familiar with that, the interiors of my last 2 cars were pretty much trashed by the dogs lol. Damn things are the reason why I got the truck cap.

Did you just put it in front and back of the pop and lock? 5 sq ft on each side?

I put it front and back. all around the pop and lock about a foot on each side. top to bottom. I would add a little more on the sides but not much...

From the other videos I hear. its much better.

So the wife and I decided to go on a little drive over the weekend. Went to Wheeler's Pass (I think that's the name) just north of Vegas. She took this picture and worked her magic on it. It is probably my favorite picture of this truck so far.DSC06033-2.jpg

also has anyone had issued with your truck lurching multiple times in a row?
no cold start related just driving down the road and the truck lurches multiple times over 10-15 mile period
very odd, just recently started happening, UNRELATED TO the gear change lurching

I know the feeling, I've already gone on a few adventures with mine after a month. And you're kind of in the area too, right? You'll have to let me know of fun places to go, there are so many around here!
