People get crazy behind the wheel and it is inexplicable...they dont realize that speeding, being the first car to merge, or tailgating someone doesn't get you to your destination any faster. You are going to get there when you get there, it's out of your hands when there is traffic.

    I'm a blocker :anonymous:

Unless I can tell that they genuinely fucked up and didn't know. Even then, the worst thing they would have to do is go into the cash lanes... fastrak works there too. Instead they block a cash lane trying to get into the fastrak lane.

On a few occasions, I flat- out blocked a cutter. Didn't look at them- just pretended I was a shitty driver that lunged forward when they tried to cut. Pretended to be distracted adjusting the radio with an oblivious expression on my face. Victory music was playing in my head as they gave up and went into the cash lane... gotta keep the commute interesting while dishing out some freeway justice.

Generally, I'm a courteous driver. Always use my signal, let people in when it's their turn. Often yell, "Go! Fucking go! It's your fucking turn!" Also use the hell out of my windshield washer fluid when someone is tailgating, when I'm going 75 in the 3rd lane during non- carpool hours, and the 4th lane is wide open. I don't let off the trigger... I mean lever, until their wipers turn on and they back off or switch lanes.

I've learned to just drive at my own slow pace. People can drive as fast as they want and rage as much as they want. But I'll be over here not getting gray hairs because I'm perfectly satisfied being 1 car behind at the next light. So long as one of these turds don't collide with me and ruin my day, I'm alright. I'm also okay with drafting a big rig all the way across 80 so long as they aren't kicking up rocks.

My uncle is one of those impatient drivers. Can't merge for shit, constantly changes lanes, never lets pedestrians cross, and in the city he constantly floors it at every single light. He says that's the way you're supposed to drive and that I don't know how to drive.

In his cute 4 cyl RAV4.

Yesterday some lady was freaking out and flipped me off because for some reason she felt entitled to cut in front of me when someone was obstructing her lane on a two lane road, and she could have easily waited for me to pass like I was doing and come around behind me no problem.

I used to be a blocker...

But I would also go to the back of the 'line' every time. The way it's striped now (from 880 approach) you're not supposed to get over until after the right hand bus/carpool lanes. But everyone lines up right through the marked off areas. Get in the back of that and you not only illegally cross striped lines, but watch car after car go around you on the left to easily merge back right. I both lost and found my patience there...

My two tricks for a calm and relaxed commute:

    1. Drive something you actually want to be in

    2. Play some Mariah Carey, loud.

So if any of y'all ever see a 5 ft chinaman blasting Mariah with the windows down. I'm trying to keep my BP low.

Exactly why I'm a blocker! I go to the back of the line every time. Wait my turn. I understand that some people didn't anticipate the backup and let them in if they're not driving like a dick and use their signal.

I get it the worst with the camper. Someone's driving 60 in the 2nd lane, see me passing on the left, and they must think, "I'm not getting passed by that fuckin' thing!" and speed up. Then I'm the dick slowing down the lane I only planned to be in for 15 - 20 seconds. Just trying to drive 65 - 67 mph. Sometimes I back off, get behind them, and they slow down to 60 again. It's the only reason I want to get a supercharger, which isn't enough to justify it... yet.

The minivan's got that 270ish HP Turd Gen engine & AWD, so I don't take dat shit from nobody.

I remember watching 'The Bodyguard' during a visit to my grandmas around my middle school years. I was belting out some Whitney in the shower the next day. No idea everyone could hear me :anonymous:

    Selfish. Also stupid.
Try doing it in a big rig. Everyone HAS to make it in front if you. Even if it means totally fucking everything up. So fucking annoying :annoyed:

On the topic of road rage.. you guys remember the TW member who was shot and killed in his rig in Sacramento area last year? Was that road rage or gang related? Can't recall. Home Depot parking lot was where he was shot.

Don't remember his username, but he had a first gen with a bright blue powdercoated frame.
