I love it. I'll admit I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to data like this so it's perfect.

Got my CBI ditch light brackets installed and threw on some lights last night. Looks like they finally got the fitment issue resolved. On in 30 mins.

At this point the Chinese sellers must be scratching their heads and wondering why all of a sudden about 50 units have sold over the last few weeks...

I've been saving for a bit. And the whole single w/ no kids (unless you count the hound) thing kind of helps. :D

Although I guess I should file my taxes to get a little bit of money to replace what I spent. And if I could get the guy to pick up the 4 wheeler living in my garage that I did about $2K worth of rebuilding to, I could at least pay myself back for the armor. So it's not as crazy as it looks.

Still have to trim the cowl? That's kind of the only thing keeping me from getting a pair.

Yes I did. Unfortunately I wasn't fully aware of that until I went to put it back in. I had known all about the fitment issues, just not the cowl trimming. It worked out and I'm happy with it.

I'll pop the hood at lunch and get you a picture of both sides. The installation manual online states that you have to trim some but it ends up being more than what they actually illustrate. I was very hesitant bringing a blade anywhere close to something this new.

I hear ya. I just can't stand it when leafs get in there and stuff like that.

Only reason I'm hesitant on the ditch lights really.

    Wouldn't believe that.

Bilstein warranty is void unless you us OEM coils or Eibach shocks. Nobody from Bilstein will ever say to use OME coils on their shocks.

They have a contract with Eibach.

    This. Please and thank you.

I'm not scared to trim the cowl. I'll cut the shit out of stuff as long as it won't look like a hack job. I just have yet to see exactly how much needs to be trimmed to make sure I can make it look right.

Have a look at some of the pics I took last night before final fitment. The edges have been straightened and cleaned up since.
