I can just make out the slider plates, they don't wrap under the frame at all?

GL hope it goes smoothly. I'll be needing to make some time for installs on my truck soon also. This list of parts keeps getting bigger the longer I put it off.

Front mounts to the angled part of the crossmember. The back I'm guessing drill a hole and put it on the backside. He not give instructions?

There's something wrong with the focus system, I did some research a while back and what I'd found suggested that something was loose that prevented the auto focus motor from engaging the gearing that changed the focus point. As I recalled it fix was fairly easy, but required some significant disassembly of the lens. I'd love to see it get fixed by someone who would put it back to work - it's the only piece of APS-C gear I actually miss using after going full frame. As far as how much, depends on how good the beer is. :drunk:

Now I see, what's giving you trouble? Nothing lining up? For my install I had the slider resting on a 2x6 supported by two hydraulic jacks, two guys supported/raised the jacks while I was under it with a couple bolts to get things secured enough it wouldn't fall. My SOS Concepts doesn't have the cross member brace though.

Nah i wasnt sure what newbie was asking for pics of, i thought he wanted to see the parts that go under he frame.

The part that was confusing is a large backing plate. The front of the frame is boxed and the instructions say bolts go through the frame. I took that as both sides of the box. All bolts supplied are too short for that so, it seems im supposed to slide the large plate into the frame. My fat hands will struggle with this but it is what it is

Sounds like you understand it properly. I just read the instructions for the install and it does sound like the 2 "nut plates" go inside the frame for the bolts to attach through the outside slider, frame and then through the "Nut Plate" inside the frame.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, sounds like @SuperBad has it right. The plate goes up into the frame (do they have weld nuts on them??) on the front so you don't have to reach up in there a mile to get on that front bolt (I've left that one off for the time being till I'm prepared to really put the sliders to the test). If I had any sort of welding ability at all, I'd probably try to fab up myself a similar setup.

I would like to attempt it at least... don't know when I would be able to get it from you though.

Its not going anywhere, next decent weekend I'll ponder a trip out to Tyler State Park and let you know, if you come this direction (far north Dallas) ping me and I'll do my best to get it to you.

Not sure when I would be coming to Dallas next, except for coming through when headed to Big Bend in April. I am however wanting to take a day trip to Tyler State Park to go hiking and do some fishing. May try that not this coming weekend, but next weekend.

This weekend looks wet and I'm booked through most of the rest of the month, so April it'll probably have to be either way.

Works for me, I can try and get it on my way through in April headed towards Big Bend if that would work.
