Flagpole Knob, Harrisonburg VA spring camping trip - March 25th

I know. I am committed to AOP that weekend

 

So I know we're going to end up splitting into groups. Should we try to arrange that now, or just try to organize something Saturday morning at the parking deck?

True. I know there's 3 ways up to Flagpole. (Now that I've been and understand the layout )

I didn't know if it would be easier to split people up in to a few groups before hand, based on which way they wanted to go to the top, or if they were wheeling/camping or just wheeling (like me so far).

But I'm also a go with the flow kind of guy, so I'm down for game-time decisions.

 

A stock 4Runner can go up the "hardest" trail so I don't think any other trail is really necessary unless it's for a prerunner

 

Oh I know. And with the right driver, you could get a PreRunner up there. I cracked up reading the reviews/trail reports one time when I came across one that made it sound like you were attempting to climb Everest.

 

Picked up some axles today gonna be tearing it apart tonight or in the morning

 

Still room to join? I just purchased a 2004 Tacoma last week and would love to go with you guys and meet some people.

I'm actually going to flagpole this Sunday, the 12th with a couple of my Jeep friends, but I would love to go again on the 25th.

One of my Jeep friends (2015 4 door jk) is interested in joining us too. I've ran this trail 2 times before in a friend's 03 Tacoma, great little trail. Let me know!!

Normally I joke with this, but man I think we might REALLY have a Tacoma Takeover. Whats the count looking like?

its looking like 50/50 on 4runners and Tacoma's should be well over 30 Toyotas and a handful of jeeps

Unless a miracle happens I don't think I'm gonna make this ..Having a bitch of a time getting axle in and with the cold weather coming back may not get it done

Well the problem is I'm not really close to anyone in Md or Va plus throw work schedules

 

Well I got the SOB in finally got pickup a tie rod tomorrow but should have 1side done by then

 

@greengen1 get a dead blow hammer from harbor freight and it should make your life a bit easier. I've done a bunch of cvs and that and an impact are key to quickness.
