as i've gotten a little older ive realized i need to let it go and no reason to start something. Worlds crazy now, but thats why i have my difference maker with me in case my backs against the wall

All that said, fuck Uber and Lyft drivers. All of them.

 

my cab driver in vegas went on a very expletive filled rant about them and how they're ruining vegas.

 

in my experience vegas cabs are gross as F*ck.....

Cabs and ridesharing or whatever is just the next industry that's been hit by innovation. I used to hate taking cabs because 1) the cars were shit holes and 2) the drivers were dicks who acted like they hated their job. I'm much happier to pay someone with a clean car who at least acts like they're happy to be doing what they're doing

 

agreed, but in my state of inebriation i was not paying attention to that.

2. Most are fucking retarded. It is just a multiplier of lost people staring at phones and crawling along slowly and unpredictably in every one else's way. They directly contribute to congestion and road rage. Distracted driving = drunk driving.

 

I'm under the impression that none of them know how to pull the fuck over.

When you do this on a busy street with dozens of cars behind you and the entire sidewalk empty. You can just go ahead of fuck off.

 

That intersection is always like that. I hate pulling over in that area, nobody wants to let you out and you just have to jump out there and cut them off.

 

Yes. Another prime example. I an waiting Uber driver. Therefore, I can block traffic.

I swear to god they should require special, and expensive, licenses or permits.

Twice in one night I had an uber slam to a stop in the middle of a very busy SJ street to let their people out. Definitely not the brightest of the bunch.

Yup and more frequent and strenuous re-evaluations of the elderlys driving privileges.

 

That guy wasn't there for a short time either. I walked across 2 blocks and this guy was just stopped like that the entire time.

I have an idea. Make them put their own unique QR code on the back of their cars and let other people review them. Every time I see some driver do something retarded I'd like to scan and comment.

 

San francisco has started trying to ticket these idiots, including using muni bus cameras to catch those in bus stops. Drop in the ocean though

 

DMV doesn't give a shit.

My grandmother couldn't see a thing. Couldn't see a stop sign until she'd passed it already.

She wouldn't stop driving. We wrote letters to the DMV with a written letter from her eye doctor saying she was dangerous behind the wheel due to her impaired vision.

Still sent her a renewal in the mail. She was in her 80s.

Glad she didn't kill anyone, but after that experience with the DMV I am never surprised by the abilities or lack of abilities of anybody on the road.

Supposed to be a privilege, right? Says who? Only way to have that apparent "right" revoked is to get hammered and run people over a few times. Then a few times more.

I'd rather see the public transportation system evolve correctly and have less people have access rights to public roads, but then again, nobody cares anyway. Driving is now a right, whether you're licensed or not, whether you have insurance or not, whether you are a fucking liability to everyone around you or not.

Belts need to be tightened, for sure, and it needs to transfer to drivers.

I'm sure that will happen, too, just as soon as I stop getting tailgated by an Airporter or Muni bus that's doing 80 MPH in the carpool lane.
