They phased them out between 2012-2013 if I recall correctly.

Is that an Toyota 4Runner TRD Shift Knob? Any modifying to make it fit, or is it the same thread pattern as the Tacoma's?

Same thread size for all modern Toyota and Lexus models. However, this particular one may be too long, so you may have to thread a couple of M8-1.25 nuts on the shaft first to act as a stopper.
What tires are you running? Keep in mind lower pressure generates heat, but also improves the tire's puncture resistance.

So the display unit has a USB port for charging phones and stuff? That's cool.

I love Crutchfield... Ordered yesterday at 3 pm, showed up about 30 minutes ago. Of course they're only an hour away. Lol. IMG_20170308_122852.jpg

It's a Tundra TRD knob. I bought one and installed it for a day. Didn't like it...too big for my tastes. Still have it sitting on a shelf.

The same shit everyone else has.
    It's an MV50 that I tweaked a little bit.

Use this the next time - You'll wax the truck once a year and it'll stay nice. I use this on mine. Detail the paint every spring then seal it. I'll spray wax it once a month then quick detail it weekly and it looks like it's always freshly waxed.

Gotcha. Well crap, just found the part # and bought one from ebay, or I'd take that one off your hands! How was the install? Does it just thread on or did you have to install lock nuts before putting the knob on?

I'd have to look at the sidewalls but I'm pretty sure the cold inflation rating is 36psi...

Yeah, that's a bonus on the USB port on the side. I'm going to put a USB output over at the switch blanks here pretty soon because that's my phone cord there and it's annoying as hell draping it across the steering wheel to my A-pillar mount for it.

As noted, the external TPMS is cool so I can see in real time what's going on with my tires but I know airing down/up when wheeling is going to suuuuuuck having to take these special valve caps on/off. Oh well. I can deal with it for now.

Well thanks for the info! Did you run into any issues with the knob hitting on / rubbing the gear indicator below?

It did "rub" a little switching from park into reverse. Barely noticeable. Definitely "fixable" with a little thought put into it, but I wasn't invested enough in the mod to do anything about it.
