    Definitely steel. I wheel hard and need the extra protection. I have honestly bent my steel ones so aluminum wouldn't stand a chance.

    I already have steel engine, trans and transfer case skids. For this GB I decided to add the fuel tank skid, and went with Aluminum for it. Looking under my truck I hit the center skids quite often, but my stock gas tank skid is basically untouched, so looks like I wont be hitting it often, and because of that decided to go with the weight saving Aluminum.
