    Came here for @EatSleepTacos meme that was in the thumbnail on the home page.

    TLDR all 9 pages.

    I took my sway bar off with bilstein 5100s set at 2.5 and it was better offroad but had to drive considerably slower to keep it safe as there was a good amount of body roll. With my Icon 2.5 Coilovers, set at damper level 4 (which is the most similar to the non adjustable Icons) not having a sway bar is hardly noticeable. I do have more roll than a tacoma with a sway bar, but it is much more controlled and returns back to center more quickly and with better stability than with the bilsteins and no sway bar. I feel completely safe driving with no sway bar and Icon coilovers, if there were the need to make an emergency maneuver I have no doubt the truck would stay planted 4 wheels on the ground and safely get through it (to a point, some things can't be avoided).

    My .02

    You think you can do 60 feet apart at 65mph with your sway bar on? Let's see it

    @PackCon FYI - 65mph is 95.333 Feet Per Second.

    So having the cones 60ft apart would be hazardous no matter what.

    75mph is 110fps.

    My law enforcement evasive driving training was in a Crown Victoria (wide, low Center of gravity) and we only trained at 25, 35, and 45mph.

    With or without sway bar vehicles are not designed for emergency evasion at highway speeds. Brakes. Period.

    As the road advisories say, "Don't veer for deer." Why? Because it's how people die.

    Well.... situational awareness is also very important. Pay attention to the road. There are situations where it is better to swerve around the deer -- because people ALSO die by hitting the animals straight on. Especially with shorter vehicles that are able to take out the animal's legs first, then you have deer through the windshield.

    Lots of older vehicles don't have swaybars, my 61 ford, my 64 and 66 vans, my 71 pickup, didn't roll any of them.

    And all of them handle like absolute garbage. Plus, tire technology at that time was equally garbage which meant you didn't even have enough traction on the outside to roll them. :D

    Agreed, Don't veer. I see a lot of animal hits. I inspect vehicles in a rural area in TX. The fatalities are the one's that swerved and rolled. Cars are designed to take a front end impact. Just slow down as much as possible. While you are trying to swerve, that deer is just as likely to jump into the path you are swerving to than it is to stay still anyway. I don't think your sway bar is going to make any difference.

    It changed my truck 100%, love the way it rides now. Granted I do have aftermarket coilovers.
