Ain't that the truth, I've seen so many guys go straight to 35's and front locked but don't know how to do it. Not saying OP can't but I've seen it before

 

Dont forget about someone who broke their rear diff on 33's

Yup haha or BFH and some kind of crowbar to get that sucker out/new one in and all the others. Lots of tools to carry.

 

Sounds like EDC to me, and I'm still on 31s

 

Southeast overland makes a cool little puller tool to help get them out. Pulls it out evenly instead of prying certain areas

Bailing wire and BFH. Make a ghetto slide hammer for pennies on the dollar.

 

I haven't seen it in use but in theory it should work way better than a pry bar. Since it'll pull the CV straight out evenly compared to prying it up at weird angles and potential hurting the inner bearings knowing how much of a PITA these are

I had to pull one out of a brand new 2016 and it was just as hard as my 6 year old ones.

 

I made one out of 5/64 amsteel... I broke it... Axle still didn't come out

 

I tried doing the same, rope not winch line. But still it wasn't happening, me and @Sacrifice were yanking on it together with zero luck. Big ass pry bar is the best bet, plus it fits in the plano case just fine along with the recovery gear

 

Ehh I needed much more than a bfh

Id give my pinky toe to go west and camp for 2-3 months, nothing here but private farmland, the occasional decent rocky trail, and offroad parks with national forest scattered around.

Still though, other than the views, i still have a lot of fun here
