What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Looks good, it is a little off, but that stuff is hard to match perfectly. Since its two complete different parts I don't think it takes away from the looks.

 

This. What didn't carryover from the old OEM unit? Also did you just replace the speakers and nothing else? I remember some folks around here swapping speakers and getting no difference in sound unless they replaced wiring, added an amp etc. May have just been because they were using the stock OEM unit..

H1 HUMMER Ford Raptor, defender 110 and on
I have never purchased a part that was as unorganized and as badly numbered and as badly illustrated as this 1600 dollar ARB bumper

It's a shame on ARB for not even printing color pictures on the instillation Manual
No numbers noting
It's All guess game and bumper has over 100 bolts and parts

DO NOT try to put this bumper by yourself if u are not very good at handling tools. It's a clean 8 hour job.

Quality is 100% perfect I'll say that

And I would gladly donate my IPhone to ARB USA if they need a camera to take color pictures

Even the template that is for marking the bumper had to be copied by the buyer because there were so cheap not to make 2 copies

 

Got around to doing a couple of quick videos for my exhaust. I'll apologize before hand for the cell phone vids. Best to listen to the videos in the truck via bluetooth, of with ear buds. Hard to get the bass/deep tones on crappy computer speakers or phone.

Sounds like a total PITA and I wouldn't get one... but the end result looks pretty badass! Great work on your end!

 

Apologize. I did do that. Used self tapping screw to mount it. Just recently added a nut and washer to both fire extinguisher and bottle opener.

I had a major overhaul on my system and it required an audio processor to counteract the custom EQ the headunit puts out for the JBL speakers and sub. I ended up buying an Alpine 5 channel amp, Hertz MPK 3 ways in the front and MPX's in the rear, JL audio sub and JL audio Twik & Fix processors. It is true that if you only change to new speakers there will be a minimal improvement.

I had an ARB on my Grand Cherokee and loved it. They definitely are high quality and very well engineered. The bumpers for the 3rd gens are freaking massive though. I don't think my truck would fit in the garage with one of those. And they weigh like 160 pounds with no winch.

 

Film. I do have yellow hids in there though.
