So I just replaced my new 2017 suspension with the BP-51 OME kit and Dakar leaf springs. I don't know what to do with all the old parts... will people buy them? What are they worth?

Save the parts so you can return it back to stock when its time to get rid of it.

    Craigslist.

Some guys get $400. Some guys get $0 and scrap it.

I have mine up for $300 and I'll take $200, no takers so far.

OEM suspension on TW is of little value, so CL is your best bet.

The thing is I really don't have the room for them. I'm in the navy and live on the boat...

Someone like me who bought an sr5 could see yours as a little upgrade from the hitachis it comes with. I'll eventually just get ome and new Billsteins but for someone who wants to keep factory parts it's not a bad choice at all. Put em on CL for a reasonable price and post them here too, and offer "x percent off for TW members" and they will sell eventually.

I agree with @shakerhood about keeping it for future. I hung onto mine to have something to put back on when I need to rebuild them (they're FOX shocks). But in your situation I'd say Craigslist the stuff.

Try to sell them. At least you have an OR with the Bilsteins. Probably get some $$ for them. Maybe even a Second Gen owner looking for a mild upgrade would buy them (I think they fit).

im good buddy. I'm gonna save up some money off my OT checks and pop in some 6112 or 5100 and OME. separate note, I think some members are trying to put together a Knoxville OHV day soon. It's close-ish to you if you're in Rosa

I'd run 5100s over 6112s, unless 6112s are your end game. If you think you might one day end up with a real coilover setup like Icon/King/ADS/Fox then stick with 5100s.

With OME coils, they're a good setup for the price.

6112's would be the end game. I'm going to keep it pretty low key and 265/75/16's. Just want to bring her up a little. Heard good things about OME and figure it's a safe bet. And an AAL in the rear. Sorry don't mean to threadjack

Bummer. Though I'm joking, I do have chickens, since I'm moving i can't really take them with me, looks like I'll be eating chicken soup for a while.
Realistically, probably $250-300 for a lot if you're lucky, good luck

"Rank something @ToyLett what are these god damn yard birds doing on my ship?"

"I traded my stock suspension for these chickens sir! I thought my shipmates might like some eggs that didn't come from a powdered form, sir!"

It's either that or just find a dark hole in the ship to store your oem parts on. I've seen the tv shows. There are a lot of places to hide drugs, dead bodies or prostitues on a navy ship. Ask Sturgill.

Disclaimer: I don't know what I'm talking about and I gave all my good advice earlier when I was sober.

I think it's called a back to stock kit. For the bros that want to trade their junk in.

I should probably post my stuff up fur sell.

We used strips from truck leaf springs in my blacksmithing class to make blacksmith's knives. Nice high carbon steel. You can do a lot with the coils as well.20161102_140309.jpg 20161102_143414.jpg 20161102_152036.jpg 20161102_171957.jpg

I always try to keep stock parts. Never know when you're gonna need them and when you actually do need them, you probably dont have time to hunt stuff down.
