    But we were putting up a 3 rail 2x8 fence so that's a lot of back and forth. I walked the length of every board at least twice...start building fence, Chuck. You'll get your steps.

    Oh, on the DeWalt 1/4" impact driver. I started with a fresh battery this morning and I figure I drove in around 950 torx head screws in a variety of lengths (3", 3 1/2" & 4") all on one battery. That thing didn't skip a beat through the whole thing.

    Meh. 'Testosterone' is just another way of saying 'troublemaker'.

    Wife's finger is doing really well. The ER doc put about 6.5 million stitches in, I'm not sure if she was trying to ensure the least amount of scarring or practicing her fancy stitchwork but the thing looks like a porcupine. As for splitting that stuff by hand, I did that to get it down to a size the monster splitter could handle. That was enough for me. We still have plenty more to go, so if anyone is feeling frisky the beer's on me.
