how did you do that??? always use a boxed end wrench on bolys like that.. I would def replace it.. if a wrench wont grab it anymore use some vice grips just to get it off....

It's a 24 millimeter. Mine was pretty tight, but was no problem to remove.

Mine was tight as shit. Ended up having to wack the ratchet a few times with a hammer to break it loose. After that, smooth sailing.

Only .007" diff between 15/16 and 24 mm. They are interchangable.

Go to the dealer and have them get it off and have them replace it with a new one. Most dealerships are more than happy to help with a stuck bolt and might not even charge to do it. Those bolts are a pain in the a** to get off the first time!

When mine was stuck, I just used my big ass pipe wrench. I still re-use it just torque it to correct spec and you won't have this problem again.

    Not a chance.

You should be fine re-using the plug at least temporarily while the dealer orders a new one.

Ok I finally got it out and replaced the fluid. I think my dumbass tried to remove it with not having a good angle. I'll make sure to change the bolt when it arrives. Very frustrating day..

That's why "they" say you should always remove the fill plug first.

I have the same problem.:mad::mad: 24mm socket and she spins WTF. I started with normal wrench then breaker bar, then on a impact and nothing. To top that off i hit the drain plug and (just to see if it was that damn tight) lost half of the oil:mad:(more pissed) So now what? I have a normal size set of vice grips and a 24in pipe wrench/ or do i spend more$ to fix my F up.
