    im in a canundrum.
i got a set of KO2's replaced under warranty, they have around 10k on em, but i want to do wheels also.

is there? would you? yadda yadda......

its not a mall crawler, its a beach bitch. toy tec 3" lift over sized tires on stock wheels.

i guess my question, in this situation, would you save the loot and just do wheels?
big difference doing just wheels and swapping tires and TPMS vs, wheel and tire packags.

thoughts? flame suit ready. lemme have it.

i have method mesh 8x16 with 285/75/r16 ko2s 3in toytec lift in front alcan hd leafs in back and love my wheel/tire set up. i like the 16s better than the 17s but thats just my opinion. found my methods on craigslist for less than half the price, pretty much brand new and waited on tires til i needed new ones. might as well get new tires with the wheels and sell the old ones

17" is nice for tire choices.

Not a lot of the new tires coming out offer many sizes in 16"

I wanted 16s when getting a new set of wheels but then quickly noticed that so many tire companies have R17 tires and no 16.

+1, especially if you run in rocky areas. I am really happy with my ST Maxxs for the short time I have had them. Ran over a ton of cactus this past weekend and no thorns in tires. I have always preferred more rubber less metal for ride on and off road.

only off roading the truck sees is the beach. it is setup right, if i were to go with 17's itd be 265-70-17's so i wouldnt be changing any height. i dont want to go any taller because i plan on pulling a 21' cc with some regularity. these are e rated ko2's and show minimal wear. im not too worried about tire options. those are the 2 id go with either way.

thanks for the replies. i think id be ok if i stayed with the 16's and swapped wheels.
