Originally had my heart set on quicksand but the wife couldn't stand the color so I compromised a little and ended up with the super white. I'm pretty happy with my decision but if I were to do it all over again, Inferno has really grown on me and would definitely be a contender.

I've never understood the concept of having another vehicle for the purpose of keeping miles off another, given I have multiple vehicles, but not for that reason, financially it would never make sense.

I've had my '17 since mid-December and have already racked up 5300 miles.

it's an expensive vehicle keep the miles off it, no it's expensive so i wanna drive it and use it and get my money's worth.

Wanted BBP, but also wanted an SR. Second choice was Super White, but was very happy settling for SSM with the deal I was able to get! SSM has grown on me since, and I am glad I went with it.

Yeah and the Murano has 100K on it. I can understand having a winter beater though.

Cement. But there was no way I was going to get a Pro. I was hoping for MGM but I found a 16 Super White DCLB OR with every single option available to the Tacoma. It was a demo with around 8k on the OD. $41.8 sticker walked away with it for $35.8. The truck fell in my lap and bought it. I was actually looking on Sundays when the dealer was closed because I wasn't ready to pull the trigger for another few months at the time. I was waiting at the door on Monday when the dealer opened, got the keys and signed the paperwork.

Honestly Black, but I've had black before and I don't think I am ever going back, too hard to maintain, shows too many small scratches and imperfections.

I didn't even try to find one, had my dealer had one on the lot I still would have ordered the white one I did.

White was a very close second favorite and I couldn't be happier.

I dont know who would want a blue truck... Mines silver and was hard to track down, MGM was a close second, wouldn't even consider it in any other color.

Was an MGM fan through and through with the 2nd gens, planned on that for the third gen as well. But one day I saw a silver OR access cab in my neighborhood and the color struck me. It's a dark, moody silver....it can appear bright and light at some angles and lighting but in others it is a dark silver.

I ended up ordering the Silver Sky Metallic. No regrets though I think I would be fine with the MGM as well. SSM looks clean all of the time too, another bonus.

Wandered into the dealership on a Sunday to see what they had. First time looking. Knowing exactly what I wanted, but I was really just intending on window shopping. A Quicksand, Access, Trd OffRoad, Manual tranny was sitting on the Show room floor. Exactly what I wanted. So I bought it.
Nine months later and I am extremely happy with my purchase.

    1. Inferno
      • The order timeline for this color was just stupid long (5+ months) for the exact truck & features I wanted, so I had to forego it.
    2. Blazing Blue Pearl
      • Opted out due to bad luck with blue vehicles in my past. :(
    3. Quicksand / Magnetic Grey Metallic
      • I was left with these two and went with MGM.
      • I'm still waiting on my MGM; delivery time was extended from 2 months to now 4 months. :frusty:

Fav colors were #1 Quicksand #2 SuperWhite

Every previous car I have owned I wanted in White and never ended up with it, so I told myself regardless I am getting white. So SuperWhite it is.

I waivered on getting Quicksand but wife really did not like so that helped with decision making as well.

I cannot. My order is already in process according to the dealership. On top of that, my trade-in is registered out of state, so I am migrating everything from WI to LA. My registration expires a few weeks before new delivery date, so the dealership is giving me a loaner. My car would fail emissions inspection anyhow. If I caused the timeline to extend, they would likely revoke that loaner and I'd be without a vehicle.

One thing I did hate about the Inferno was the stupid dash accent piece. I would have had to hunt down a graphite dash accent if I did get Inferno.

I have it on my Superwhite OR. It grows on you. I may eventually have it vinyl wrapped.

This thread is a few days old but blazing blue pearl was my first choice and thought I would love the color. All the dealerships in my area only had them in TRD sport trims and I wanted a TRD off road. The dealership was going to do a transfer for a blue TRD off road with a dealership 100 miles away but I would have had to pay sticker for it. No Way! I don't like the color that much to pay MSRP.
My local dealerships had a red and MGM TRD off road in stock. I preferred a neutral conservative color over red so I went with MGM and have no regrets.
I saw a BBP TRD off road in person a couple weeks ago and the color seems out of place with the black fender flares. Blazing Blue Pearl only looks good on the sport and SR5 trims in person.
MGM blends in well with the black fender flares on the off road trim. MGM is one of those colors that doesn't go out of style either and netrual color vehicles like black, gray, white, and silver tend to age well. All the 2nd gen tacomas in gray, black, white, and silver still look good while the more exotic colors makes the 1st and 2nd gen tacomas look outdated.

Quicksand all the way! Once I saw it wanted something different than plain old white. Have gotten plenty comments! IMG_20170312_161308247.jpg
