Like a entire solid platform? Check out lab rack if thats the case just rack wise there is a few companies that make low pro ones. Bed bars may also be an option for you if you dont need a solid center to the rack

Warrior Products has something you might be interested in. I have the bed rack but on a long bed so I get around a foot of clearance. On the short beds it would pretty much cover everything.

If you don't mind my asking, what is the full cost of the rack and tent setup? Is the Rack easy to install?

 

Question....I think what you did to the truck looks awesome and totally understand the black to body color ratio. Do you think you made it standout by doing this or do you think you made it look like all the other red trucks and cars on the road with the black mirrors and black handles? Serious question. When I looked at this post and a couple other posts like this, I thought to myself maybe I should do this. However, now thinking about it, every red car I see on the road today has the same setup. I feel like mine is different so I'm not so sure I want to change it now. If that makes sense.

No problem. I paid $549 with free shipping for the rack. I paid about $990 for the roof top tent during a group buy. So I'm in it for about $1500. The tent company, Free Spirit Recreation, is currently running a free shipping offer though. Shipping ran me almost $200. The rack is simple to install/uninstall. One person job. It's three pieces. Two side supports that go into the bed rail channel and the top rack that secures to the side supports. Everything is bolt --> washer --> RACK --> washer --> nylon nut. Getting the tent on and off will take two people just because it's kind of an awkward dimension for one person. But once you have it on there it just bolts from the underside.

Hey Guys, I am new to the website. I am 21 and just bought my first brand new Truck. Got a 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport w/tech package in Barcelona Red. I enjoy seeing everyone's modifications. So far I only added OEM door sills and OEM all-weather floor mats. Just ordered interior LEDs from Diode dynamics and OEM mud guards. As soon as those arrive I will install them immediately. I'm young but I have owned and driven many toyota's before: 1981 hilux single cab 2wd, 1987 & 1988 hilux 4wd xtra cab (just like back to the future), 2 1996 tacomas xtracab 2wd, 1990 toyota pickup 2wd, brand new 2011 tacoma trd sport barcelona red as well (until some idiot rammed right into it and insurance called it a total loss),and now my recent 2017 tacoma. Btw all the older models have all been manual transmission.

 

Where did you get the material for this and did you cut it up yourself ??

So far so good. Everything lined up as far as mounting holes go. I had a scratch on one of the corners that I could tell if I did or happened during shipping. Either way I touched it up with a rattle can and all is well.

I have used the shorter "back" ones since I like them shorter for looks mainly. Since I got them without the 3M tape, I used epoxy to glue them to the frame. Need to find use for the front longer ones.
