Austin Area TW Chapter (all gens welcome, even T4Rs; heck, just make it a Toyota and we're good)

I am a vodka drinker. Have been since before I was legal. Never liked beer. Tasted like shit. I have tried a ridiculous amount of beers. My best friend loves all kinds of beer.

A few years ago I tried a grapefruit wheat beer, https://www.stiegl.at/en/brands/range/main-range/stiegl-radler-grapefruit. This got me to try other wheat/fruit beers. I have found several I like.

So do I. And I am about 90% sure I will be there Sunday. Gonna be exhausted and not sure how long I will stay...

No, a girl I used to coach has a tournament. I told her I would support her this year but haven't made one. She is a senior and this weekend may be the last chance I get to go watch.

 

Sticked around until almost one last time. It turned into a giant cluster when everybody tried to leave so we sat it out....

Its worth the read. Apparently this is a charity event and recently, they have collected only 60 bucks. They have mentioned it has gotten huge and they are now charging to park.

 

Damn they have fees now?

 

How much? Even in the dirt lots?

Looks like it will be $5 and the garage is no longer available? I have never been but it sounds like this Sunday might be a shit show with the changes in the long FB post.

I support the garage decision though. It's usually full of, how did they say, wannabe hoonigans....

And it is still a business, they need the parking to make money.

 

I personally don't mind paying $5 to attend C&C because I am/have have been associated with charitable organizations and fund raising can be difficult.
And when you concider the amount of money we spend on our trucks $5 in nothing.

No negativity was intended in any way, I was actually trying to be supportive of their decisions.

 

I meant the hating on money wasted on the trucks. We don't need that kind of negativity here!!
