That is a slightly different tire. Wal-Mart is carrying a branded tire, called the Wrangler Authority.

The carcass and construction type is the same. The tread and shoulder lugs are slightly different.

 

got mine today----5 tires///needed the spare so all the same size.
like the ride better than the junk stock dunlops.i expected more noise.

going to be putting my duratracs on here soon 265/70/17..can't wait!

 

Finally got the llift put on Fri night and 285/70/17 Duratracs put on Sat. Love them so far...had to take front flaps off and do a little trim but they are great so far.

 

just wait to you get them in the snow!
you may not want to go back home.

 

Sorry this may have been already answered but would I be ok running an E rated Duratrac?? Whats the difference?? Looking at 285/70/17

 

e rated is like 10 ply.way overkill if you aint gonna be rockclimbing and such.i got mine c rated.i think the are 6 ply.the e's will be heavier also.

 

i think i may have paid 24 bucks on something i didnt need though.
did anyone need to replace thier tpms valves?the installer said i needed them ,why i dont know,but i just didnt seem to care at the time.
anyone ???or can ya run the old ones.next tire change it would be good to know

 

Dont recall them replacing mine. But for 24 buck to have new ones on the tpms sensors, may not be a bad thing.

 

they were like 5 bucks each,i got all 5.he said they were for the tpms

anybody clearing 285's stock? I'd like to do it now cuz I gotta get tires, but don't have the cash for lifting the truck the way I want to yet....

 

Pretty sure you are gonna rub. Just put my 285's on and had to trim a little and that's with a 3" lift.

 

And they won't fit unless you change your offset or use wheel spacers.

 

yeah 285 rub with 3" lift. seen it myself

 

Just get the lift 1st, 5100's aren't that much.
