Just keep throwin' money at it.
Anyone in here know where to pick up a used old style ARB or Engel transit bag? I've been looking for months with little luck. I know I can buy a new MT45 bag, but if anyone has a line on a used one that would be awesome.

Do any of you all use a portable air compressor or airing up tires after the trail? I have no need for a permanently mounted compressor (funds and amount of usage) It looks like a Viair 88P is the best bang for the buck from my research. only 1.47 CFM 33% duty cycle if i recall correctly. If you use something else or this Viair, what are your thoughts?

Theres only a few trails i actually need to airdown on, most of the stuff is just hardpacked dirt that may have some washed out ruts or something. But the trails i do need to air down on are 20+ miles away from the nearest gas station with an air pump

I have the 88P. It's not ideal but it gets the job done, and for $40 it's hard to beat. It takes about 5 minutes per wheel on a 33" going from 15-35 psi.

x2, picked mine up for "cheap" off Amazon warehouse. Search there for deals from time to time and you will come across one. I had a few MV50's over the years as well and they for the money cant be beat.

I use CO2 - 20lb tank mounted on my rear bumper. Filling up the tank may be a negative quality to some, but being able to air up all four tires (315s) to ~35 psi in 5 minutes is pretty nice.

Just for giggles I googled using CO2 in car tires. Normally not an issue, until moisture gets inside the tire, AND you have alloy wheels. How that would happen is anyone's guess. But if it does, the CO2 will react with alloy wheels and the moisture to form something called "carbonic acid". I am not a chemist, but googling around it looks like it does happen from time to time and can eat the wheel so the bead won't seat properly. Not sure how long it takes, I haven't read that far into it yet.

I got the Viair 450 too and it works great. Not as cool as on board air but it's nice to be able to move it to any car or truck.
