Me too. It really streamlines my schedule:

    Food
    Race #1 segment #1
    piss break + refresh beer
    race #1 segment #2
    piss break + refresh beer
    Race #1 segment #3, checkers
piss break + more food + fresh beer
    Race #2 segment #1
piss break + refresh beer + fart
    Race #2 segment #2
    piss break +refresh beer
    Race #2 segment #3, checkers
Run to truck, piss behind truck, drive home, enjoy sixth beer in front yard. Burp, shower, go to bed.

Speaking of beer & NASCAR. One time I pulled up to AMS but all my beers were glass bottled. We were turned away at the gate. Me and my buddy had a chugging contest on my tailgate and finished up all twelve beers before running back to our seats just in time for the anthem. They were high gravity beers too, so we were shit-faced until the final 30 laps. Not even the giant turkey legs could save us!

Oh, by the way, @thewarriordinghy , Newman suffered a bad battery, same as Dillon. Newman went behind the wall for 25 laps. They thought they had it solved when Dillon's car went poof entering turn 3. They told him to stay out and keep switching ignitions to solve the problem, only it didn't solve the problem, Harvick did himself in again and handed the race over to Larson and Keselowski.

Newmans team is awful, they didnt even have a backup battery in the pits had to go to garage and they consistently lose spots on pit road

That sucks for Dillon, I felt that caution was late for him... He ran good all day

Vegas prediction: a back market spins, a Busch wins. There was little attrition at Atlanta (35/39 cars finished, iirc), and Vegas will be the same. Moving from 43 to 40 starting spots eliminated most of the start & park teams.

I'll be without reception, building a hiking trail on the side of a mountain all weekend, so I'll miss all racing action. Won't have service until Sunday night.

TV money dictates all now. New England fans loved that race track and preferred the September date to the July date. NASCAR went and took the prime date. There's more to this than just the $2.5 million Las Vegas put up. I've never heard Cup drivers complain about that track, but plenty of couch potatoes bemoan it for being a "boring race." Do they still race modifieds and K&N at NHMS or did Bruton put a stop to that when he bought the track?

The last time I knew they still had the mods.
They make it hard for car clubs to race there. I Haven't been there in two years because if it.
That may change a little now as they need to recoup the loss. I'd go back. Road circuit transitions are rough. If they took care of that it wouldn't be to bad.

Car club racing on the road course is great to watch. I hate the July race at NH, enjoyed a bunch of Sept races, guess I won't be going to a nascar race at NH again.

I mean, y'alls only other option is Watkins Glen (not a bad option at all, on my bucketlist), but that's far as hell for pretty much everyone. I'd love to see Indycar or Trans-Am series races at the Glen too.

We run Watkins Glen and won last year.

There were rumors of f1 going back to the Glen. Not sure if that is still being talked about.
So many classes that could benefit from that....

Ummmm, NhMS nascar races are not good at all; whats wrong with running one less race there? Id like to see the money figures they would lose for ridding the second race in 10 weeks from new hampshire, doubt its significant or else they wouldnt have pulled it. Besides; they are taking away that race in the fall to add the charlotte motor speedway road course in the playoffs for 2018. Sign me the fuck up.

They run all sorts of cars there. Even the Legend cars. They have paved the lower pits compared to the grass they had. Grass was nice as it was cooler but was kinda hard to keep a car secure up on stands.
