    It doesn't show 2016's win.

And our top shot of last year, SGT Iannios won a M1 and certificate from the SecArmy.

This past weekend we used Mule Creek state prison's range. We have agreements with most ranges up here.

Lemme know when everyone wants to shoot. One of our guys is a NRA instructor and teaches for Falcon Operations Group. He runs courses in sac every now and then.

I'll let you guys know next time he does a course up here! :infantry:

Will bum range time for beer. Everything's closed down around me. The only place I can shoot long ranger anymore is with the NCPPRC guys at Sac valley.

I wish we had somewhere around here to do that. Used to do 800m on the 'ole 240! Used to make our gunners qual with leafs before they could use the M145s.

Sac valley goes out pretty damn far! Next time I reserve the range I'll see if they can get me an additional day for the TW crowd.

I did a report in 7th grade science class on the 1911. Tried to explain how the recoil ejected the spent round, reloaded a fresh one, and cocked the hammer back at the same time. Was super excited. Teacher was not. C- on that report.

Watched a lot of Miami Vice as a kid. Crockett had a 1911. Really liked that gun. Finally got one 20 years ago when my dad gave me his; Colt combat elite. Got a little corrosion from a snow camping trip and now it looks like a rusty recovered murder weapon. I know some of you guys recommended a good gunsmith a while ago. I'm ready to pull the trigger on the rehabilitation of the 1911, so please let me know who you recommend. Local shop preferred.

Really thought about a CCW tonight when I picked up some door seals for @bayareataco in an exciting Vallejo neighborhood. 5 - 7 cars per home, chainlink fence, home furnishings on the sidewalk kind of place. Turns out the seller is a really nice guy. No issues or shots fired. Still locked the door as soon as I got back in the truck and hightailed it home. Made me want to up my home defense a bit, even though the Benicia SWAT team could literally run to my house if shit ever went down.

I'll ask my buddy if he wanta to do another course. He focuses on AR and Pistol work. At most, $20 a shooter for a private course. We had 7 shooters last time and it was $25
