Haha, yeah I've been seeing that in reviews of unhappy customers that probably didn't read the complete instructions... Looks like our forecast is getting less and less soggy, so now it's just trying to find the time! Thanks for the tip.

I think @dtaco06 or somebody on the 4Runner thread had that issue.

    Maybe he can chime in.

Hope all is well Chris! Happy belated Birthday. Missing SB hard haha.

    i don't think you can...

Thanks man! SB hasn't changed! Just a little wet and much greener in the back country!

I was directed to a thread on here that showed this. Kind of a huge bummer that the whole hinge mechanism isn't removable! It's been doing this for over a year but is still holding in the up position. Guess I'll just ride it out until it starts falling. Thanks for the insight.

officially caught up on all 48 pages!Clean build man! Seems to be built to fit your exact needs and nothing way over the top. How have those expo leafs held up? With my shackle flip and dakars I have like 4 inches of lift in the back, might pull a leaf like you were.

Also did you ever tune your C/O to where you wanted?

Hey, thanks man!! There are definitely things I want to add, and will in time, but you're right, it doesn't have all the "bells and whistles". It works for me though...

The expos have worked out well so far. Never got around to pulling a leaf and to be honest I probably never will. When its loaded with my daily stuff (tools, equipment, no camping gear) it measures 24'' from center hub to fender. I forget what stock was so I'm not sure what the actual lift height is. Sits with just a touch of rake unloaded and pretty damn near level when loaded. Then again, I'm not a stickler for the whole "look" or "stance" of it so I don't really spend time measuring and trying to compensate for stuff like that.

I still haven't rebuilt the fronts, but it's making its way up the list pretty quickly now so it should happen pretty soon. I just did the rears so far, and it turned out pretty well. Pulling the 700lb springs off scares me  It's coming up though. The rebuild kit, oil, and shims have just been sitting in my garage for over a year. :anonymous:

Hey bud, don't remember if I told you or not, we'll be in Pismo April 7/8/9 (hotel, not camping). So if you're free, come on up! I need to see how my new gears do :D

    Just for my records:

    63K

Switched over to full synthetic, changed oil/air filter, and spark plugs. Installed a Fumoto valve.

Finally got my grill back on after waiting 3 weeks for a sunny weekend. Put a fresh coat on the grill surround and emblem. Surprising, the rattle can black isn't that off.... next up is the bumper.

Oh, and I got rid of the zipties and finally hard mounted my front plate :anonymous:
