Orange County CAF's: up to no good

Ill be in Anza but curious where you're camping in big bear. What trails are you gonna hit?

If it ends up just being me, maybe take some lighter trails. Guess I'll kinda decide when I get up there hahaha

 

Word. I was just wondering what trails are open or closed. Its been warm this week but they got a decent snow pack.

 

I have no idea actually haha. Hopefully it'll be worth it! Guess I shoulda checked

 

Thomas hunting ground is fun when the snow pack is legit. Very scenic. Lots of yellow post camping. Although after the heat we got this week (I live at the bottom of. It bear off hwy 38) I'm not sure how slushy/muddy that trail is. I'd love to do lil john bull again but in some snow. There's also the pioneer town route from Joshua tree to big bear that's dope. And so many more. I just dont know what's open or closed. I'm sure they keep Clark's grade closed but that's another super easy trail when dry. Slippery and cliff shelfs when snowy.

 

I was thinking lil John Bull. I've done it in the snow and the summer dry. Fun trail. I just wanna get in a little adventure for the weekend. Hopefully there is some good stuff!

To be honest I think I was doing exactly that in Ocotillo Wells with a couple friends, it was great we rarely saw another person and got to enjoy nature in peace. Oh & we found a testher ball court on a cliff of all places. Ahhh there's a fun flag idea haha, thanks Greg

 

Haha don't get too worried I'm not planning on being on here too often, been quite productive without TW lol
