well the luge was due to its the fastest track ever and he wasnt experienced, but either way still terrible. well they put the olympics in vancouver and vancouver doesnt have a winter just slush and rain. there is just no snow on the hill closest to vancouver, tonnes on the mountains.

and you can go up to toronto or montreal for some delicious poutine. you are clearly missing out

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.

Or option 2: Eminent Domain- The Gobernment purchases the land from you at a "fair" market value.

ah yes, eminent domain...been there, done that. as for "fair market value", ask a tax assessor about that one.

i think some people in your state are about to get introduced to emminent domain. you see, there's gas out in wyoming...and they don't have any customers to sell it to, so instead of developing the huge natural gas reserves in OH,PA,WV and KY...we're gonna build this 2000 mile pipeline all the way across the US because it's "for the public good". it's called the Rockies Express Eastern Pipeline, and i just heard that they are extending it from the Ohio river on over to NJ in the near future. resistance is futile, though if you live in a nice neighborhood, they'll be sure to avoid you. the bastards flattened 7 acres of my family's woods to run it through.

They have been doing that here for the last year and a half. They have also been developing the gas reserves here too. That just started over the last year. People have been getting huge amounts of $$$ to lease the gas rights to the gas company.

I'm from New Brunswick originally, although I spent the last few years in Newfoundland before moving to Houston.

Oil baby! Black gold! ...seriously, moved down here after school for work.
