A "more than a few" years back when I was in my early 40's, I was at a package store that has a sign stating they'll card anyone that appears to be underage or near there (don't remember the exact words). Anyway, the gal cards me. I lift up my baseball cap and show her my bald head. She responds "you're good"...

It became a reality for my wife this past fall ... she likes using the senior parking spots at our local supermarket.

Similar location ... but just signed "Senior Parking" ... I'll see if I can remember to snap a pic. Month or so ago I was with her and she whips into the spot; kinda surprised me, but she just smiles and says "oh yeah, I get the discount too now." She's embraced it as well. ;)

EDIT: Palmer still has some small town ways about it, but sadly we're losing that feel and getting crowded way too fast for my liking. :(

A blizzard poss. Next Tuesday. The same day my lap steel is suppose to show up.
So I guess I'll get the tractor on the charger and prep on Sunday.
I wasn't about to pay an extra 40 bucks for overnight shipping. So I paid and extra 4 for one day sooner.
1 to 3 poss. today. I am now officially in spring fever mode.
Still haven't heard on the power problem. Will be cold in the shop
Tomorrow record cold. It's gonna suck because everyone will want to come in tomorrow if we have no power today. Smaller crew. Can I shoot myself now ???? Lol.
Maybe I'm all wrong and I'll give thanks to the power gods if there Is power and heat when I walk in.

    Morning all.
Hope ya had a happy bday @MQQSE.

I have been recapping fukushima for the week. Alaska fishing down over 12 million dollars over past years. Fish aren't there. The land bridge slowed it down but it's in there. Tin foil hat off now.

Gotta get ready in a while to go get pup.

    Morning all ,

    You know someone with artistic talent ought to design up a TW 50'S plus club logo coffee cup, Have TW World 50's screen or real name line art of the models of truck on them that kind of thing. I imagine The Bob would approve .. I can barely draw a straight line with a ruler so lol :}

    OMG
    We have power.
They bypassed every single relay with wire nuts.:facepalm::frusty::frusty::goingcrazy::goingcrazy::annoyed::annoyed:
It was for the outside lights. It was extreamly windy yesterday. So I think that causes power surges.

    Still smells in the shop.
But good news I won't be standing around and I'm warm..
So my 6 day bonus is still alive... HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE

Joined AARP for the discounts and it is nice getting senior discounts. The one thing that really gets my tighty whitie's in a knot is at Outback they give AARP members 15% off the bill which is nice, but they only give a 10% Military and Veteran discount. I talked to the manager about that and she said "company policy". Haven't written to the company yet, my bad for not doing it.

Oh by the way, HAPPY Friday all!!!coffee mug.jpg Problem is I'm past that.

So.... what looked like a new panel and wiring job was fixed with wire nuts?

Once I saw the kitchens in several Outbacks, I never ate at another.

The only thing I liked there was the bread. We had an Outback in Yuma when we first moved here and it abruptly closed in less than a year (which was fine with me).
