The GF is working towards hers as well. But she's more worried about the math side of it. Sebago Technics apparently uses GPS extensively for their survey work so she's familiar with that, and she has a pretty good background in boundary law because she worked as a researcher for a title lawyer when we were living in Farmington, plus the time that she's been at Sebago.

That looks wicked fun. Are we going to see bike racks on chairlifts soon?

Yeah they did - for nothing. But as @ERMB said, the Jimmy G thing was a hoax. Someone hacked into his account or something

Already been going on in the summer for a long time. There are a couple of resorts toying with the idea of winter lift service for bikes too.

I run Rain-x on all of my vehicles too, but I usually use the original stuff in the small bottle that you wipe on. The difference is amazing. I use the Rain-x brand washer fluid too, which keeps the windshield coat fresh all winter.

Thats great! She definitely has a huge leg up on the boundary law side of it. You can get a HP35s calculator that has been pre-programmed with all sorts of equations and matrix analysis that will come in handy for the PLS math side.

The state board hates dual licensed professionals (PLS and PE) and I am afraid they are gonna give me shit over it....my father ran into the same issues back in the 80's. They kept upping the required experience needed on the basis that if he had his PE, there was no way he was ONLY dealing with surveying experience and not engineering in conjunction. Which unfortunately is true, I survey parcels and then develop them.

Mount Wachusett. We hiked and carried the bikes up the Pine Hill trail till we got to the auto road, took that to the summit, knocked back a beer and then this happened.

Ha, glad someone else has the same problem. Summer's bad because I'm busier. If I don't make a conscious effort to eat much more than I think I should have to, I just keep losing more and more weight.

Had a guy coming up from CT to look at my Volvo tomorrow. Said he was a teacher and expected a snow day today. I was very confused, because we don't really have much of anything in the forecast.

Needless to say, no snow day for us. Which is a good thing--we have 7 of them as it is.

Yeah... I thought it was weird that they canceled school, especially since the roads were just wet, but oh well.

I'll let her know about the calculator. She's still got some class work to do before she can take the test anyway, I think. Apparently they're having a hard time getting enough students in a classroom to actually justify the University offering the class, so they're trying to arrange an online course that utilizes students from more of the state.
What do you guys use for a GPS program? ARC User?
My metabolism has slowed down enough now that if I stopped working out I'd probably put on weight (of the wrong sort), but I've tried a lot of different approaches to actually bulking up without much success. Oh well. Could be worse; I could just be a big fat guy, haha!

I don't have the same appetite that I used to, so I think that slowed down first. Better than the other way around, I guess. I'd much rather be 140 lbs than 240 lbs at my height!

That's how I know it's slowed down, honestly. I work out as much as I ever have, but I eat less than half of what I did when I was 20, haha! I've gained about 35-40lbs since then, too, but fortunately it's mostly muscle mass. I was extremely skinny for most of my early 20's; I wore 28/30's and small t-shirts and they were quite loose, lol.

I'm slowly getting back to my fightin' weight. I was 135 lbs going into college at a 28 or 30" waist. I started lifting a lot in college and put on a lot of muscle mass. Now, my goal is to get to 160 although lean and mean for my height I could be at 150-155. It sucks getting old.

Oh to go back to College shape. I was about 145, worked out probably 5 or 6 days a week for two hours a day. Nothing but time back then!
Last summer I decided to get back into shape, whatever that means. I was 180 in October and currently am 160 (5'10"). Go to the gym 4/5 days a week now for about an hr and run about 20 miles a week
