So, I think after our Moab trip I am going to go a different route with my front bumper. I believe we are going to cut the sides off and make it a hybrid style bumper like so:

We're you scraping the wings pretty good or what?

I honestly like both full plate and hybrid. Would take me too long to decide so I'm just going to stay stock lmao.

Nah the hoops don't scrape. My buddy that welded it, it was one of his firsts, didn't do the process right and the heat made the sides warp "up" close to my fenders. I've had to cut it to make sure that it doesn't flex into the fenders. I also just really like the look of hybrid.

Had some mod time this weekend and installed my Dakar AAL and Wheeler's Bump Stops on the rear. So now my leaf pack has 8 leafs and will support the weight of my camper/tent/supplies without sagging. Rides pretty smooth still too.

I'm thinking the bump stops will keep me from stuffing my tire though, they are pretty tall bumps. The AAL definitely makes it sit sturdier, so if you're going to have weight I'd recommend it.

Those bumps 'should' compress pretty good.

(I know, Im practically an expert since I watched a Youtube vid haha)

Before my super bumps and on my stock springs, I was stuffing 265/70 Duratracs right up to the fender. Now I have Alcan's and 285/70's and I haven't seen them get closer than 2 inches to the fender. This is with the other rear tire not having any weight. I can't fully blame the super bumps yet, but it is either them or the shocks.
