As good as any other ... we'll catch a movie and dinner with the kids this weekend. Still kickin'...no complaints.

Fishing here, by my personal experience, has been on a slow decline for a while now.

 

I need to get that dvd. I have a long babysitting weekend.

 

I just watched it again this past weekend. It's one I can watch again and again. It's a keeper.

Glad you get to make money at least ... having to be there and not get paid would drive me over the edge ... I get it, but it still makes no sense to me.

There's pics of salmon with cesium spots in it. Cessium mimics calcium. Heads straight for the bones. It's unfortunate to learn more than I ever have about radiation .

Happy Friday to those of us that it really is anyhow. Almost at zero this morning got spoiled with the warm weather and this stuff hurts down to the bones now. I see that tornado spanning crap that went through here is hitting you all in the East or will soon. Winds with the temp differential were the worst part. No the cold behind that front is the worst part. Stay warm and stay safe.

 

Well my cdl physical expires on the 21st so it looks like I have to find a doc to perform the new one. My pc at the base got out of the Navy and my new pc doesn't have the cert so I gotta find someone in town. I have a doc in San Diego that'll do it but I don't want to make that trip for a 5 minute exam. It'll be interesting to to see how it comes out.

 

I got nothing, if anyone is good at design, give it a shot and PM me with it. The one bob will have to approve it.

 

Wait, we know someone that works in a sign shop, I bet he is good at design!

 

Is there only the one PC on base?

 

There's 3 but none of them have the cert. It's just a pain. My last pc was really good. He pretty much got me where I am now (medically). He didn't just keep prescribing the same crap expecting a different result and he made really good dietary suggestions that made a difference and were not so far of a leap that a person could stay on track. My new pc did make a change that showed good result so, while I'm still not that model of health, we're still headed in the right direction. I'm just whining because he doesn't have his cdl cert. Work pays for the physical since it's a condition of employment. It's taking the time to call the offices in town that'll do it. Many don't want to see you unless you're their patient and there's a few that run you through. It's finding the one's that'll do it and aren't booked up.

When I was going through the process of getting my nuclear powered compaction tester cert, it made me think about why I really wanted it! I never had any exposures and I didn't use it often enough to justify it so we got rid of it. But what a pain that was keeping up with all that! It's not something I put on my resume, that's for sure.
