Eibach or OME lift springs?

    Hey guys,

    I am going to be buying a set of lift coils soon but can't decide on which ones to get. I am contemplating the Toytec eibach 2.5 inch coils with a taco lean spacer or the OME 885s with a taco lean spacer. Can anyone give me some input so I can figure out which ones to go with. I'm looking for 2.5-3 inches in the front. I have adjustable 5100s that I plan to run on the lowest setting with the new coils. They are both the same price, so I just can't decide. Thanks!

    I can't say anything about eibach springs cause I never have tried them, but I just put some ome 884 coils with ome struts on my 2014 DCSB Prerunner and absolutely love the ride, got 2 1/4" lift for the front.

    FWIW, I just ordered 887s with the Ome trim packer to put on my 5100s. I'm doing the same - putting them on the lowest setting compared to them at 1.75 on my stock coils.

    Isn't the OME trim packer only supposed to be used with OME shocks? I think I read that a few places.

    Really considering the OME brand over eibach. Did you need a drivers lean spacer with those coils?

    Shit... Ordered the wrong spacer. I thought it was for the driver side lean. I didn't know it only for ome shocks.

    im assuming yes because the coils are both the same spring rate. im running OME 885 coils and i needed the spacer. set up works awesome tho!

    Hell yeah man good to know. And you run 5100s too? How much lift did you get with that setup. I've got an access can so I may get more than a dcsb.

    FWIW.. Bilstein warranty is void if you use anything other than OEM or Eibach coils.

    Yeah I used the OME trim packer for the driver's side to get rid of the lean.

    Had no idea. Even Eibach lift coils are still within the warranty? Do you mind telling me where you found that info so that I can read up on it? Thanks

    Yes on 5100s. I got about 2 inches but I also have a pelfreybilt bumper and skid so I'm upgrading to OME 886 coils.

    Also was considering the same options for around 2.5" of lift on a 4wd DC.

    The issue with the Bilsteins' warranty making me lean towards the Eibachs. Plenty of TW members use the 1.6 Eibachs, but it's hard to find reviews of these: Anyone? :boink:

    Only thing is, if something happened they probably wouldnt cover it since its been "INSTALLED IN ANY VEHICLE THAT HAS BEEN MODIFIED; or THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY PRODUCTS: (1) THAT HAVE BEEN IMPROPERLY INSTALLED OR HAVE NOT BEEN PROPERLY INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED, LICENSED AUTO MECHANIC EXPERIENCED IN THE INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL OF SUSPENSION PRODUCTS." Not saying they WONT cover it, but I am sure they wouldnt because its a "modified" vehicle.

    I know I know, but it still give me more trust towards Eibach. I have other good experiences of them too.

    I have OME 885 and 5100s. Got me 2.5", and I used a 3/8" spacer for lean. Couldn't be happier with the ride. Eibach spring rate is higher so the ride is a little harsher than the OME

    was the 3/8 enough? I am about to order the 1/4 inch spacer from toytec along with my 885s. I just am wondering if the 1/4 inch will be too much?
