idk man, its just a grill for your truck, chances are if you install it somewhere else and don't mention it to her she won't notice it. I installed a new front bumper and it took my mom 2 weeks before she noticed.

And I've also got my dad on my side for this one...

FYI my dad has no problem with the fact that I spend thousands of dollars on cameras and related equipment (considers it a "good investment" because photography is my hobby). He is all for the Satoshi grille...

It took like 5 years to convince my mom that iPods were more economical than a case of CDs. When I wanted to put a new stereo in my Tacoma back in 2012-2013, my dad was in favor of that but my mom saw no point... Parents paid for half of a new stereo for my 24th birthday, so yeah...

Yeah, mine's a watercooled 01. AC works as well as any other car. The heat was especially bad in the older cars since there's no heater core. Heat came from air being blown across the exhaust manifolds.

Yup. I'm on my third Tacoma 4wd. This happens literally ALL the time. I've had landlords, friends, and random people at gas stations ask if they were for sale.

The weirdest one was one time, I was at a buddy's house for BBQ and beers. Some woman knocked on his door and asked for the owner of the black truck.
Everyone was lik, WTH!?! When I went to the door, she just said that she's been looking for a truck for let kid and wanted to know if I was interested in selling it. I told her my price, and she said, oh, never mind. And then left. We had some good laughs about that one.

My uncle's is stock except for one thing...

For some reason it did not have a cassette player OR a CD player, just an AM/FM stereo...

The factory speakers suit my uncle just fine, but he took out the factory head unit and installed an Alpine CD player with iPod (AUX; USB), Bluetooth, etc...

My boss briefly considered buying a Tacoma of her own after I let her drive mine. She asked me how much it cost new and how much I thought it was worth.

My boss of all people knows I'd never sell "Emma." However, my boss is probably the only person I'd sell my truck to if I did decide to sell it... She has, after all, gone above and beyond for me...

Random question... Saw in your little profile thing you have a 2005 Tundra with 250K miles. Is that a 3.4L or a 4.7L? In your opinion is the 4.7L or the 5.7L V8 better?

That is why I moved away from there and back home to Texas. Snow is fun until you have to shovel it all day for a week.

Maybe I should join Tundras.com and 4Runners.com just to watch? TW is my home... Would any of you mods care if I joined either of those just to watch? At most I'd post an intro describing myself and my love of Toyota trucks, and listening a link to my Charlie's Stories/Asperger's thread...

I also do take pics of custom Tundras and 4Runners at shows...

    What do you guys think?

I got out of shoveling after this year's first significant snowfall because it was less than a week after my eye muscle surgery, and my doctor said no heavy lifting for a week!
